Our Morning Coffee and Weather

I’m planning on heading into Spokane with a neighbor to play some virtual golf today. However my left knee is giving me fits and I’m expecting it to be a problem. Lot’s of torque on a knee (particularly) the left with a golf swing. I hate the thought that I may have a tear of some sort. If it keeps up I’ll see the doc.

I'm dealing with the same thing, but in my right knee. I tore my MCL right before I retired, and by the way it's been feeling for the last couple weeks, I fear it's the same injury. I hope it holds up today while I install a rain chain that I gave to Carol for Christmas. She has always wanted one.

Thanks Mark, I just called my neighbor and begged off. Next call will be to my doc when he opens. I guess this is a good time of the year if it needs a clean up other than shoveling snow. Might have to introduce my wife to the snow blower.

It was in the mid 40's this morning on the dog walk. Currently it's 56° and sunny. I got out the door early for my ECHO. That's the first time I've ever had one. It was interesting watching the monitor while the tech did the test. I stopped by the local county clerk's office on the way home to get the property tax paid. I thought I'd be in and out with the school break and everyone out visiting but I had to wait my turn for about 45 minutes.

our Christmas Monsoon has been relegated to memory ..... no more rain in the forecast until after New Years .... day temps will settle in the +/- mid 50's with the nights falling to into the +/- low 30's .... scheduled a 50+ mile drive for this morning to visit a Harbor Freight store, exchange a pair of shoes at the closest Skechers outlet and to pick up 5 +/- pounds of pork belly ....only part accomplished getting a couple of hand tools at Harbor Freight .... no exchange possible at Skechers .... out of pork belly until tomorrow .... only item left of list for to day is to fry some Canadian Bacon

29 this morning. High close to 50. Predicted freeze next couple mornings. Thinking tomorrow afternoon may be good time to walk behind the house and get a doe. Only putting one in freezer this year.

I’ve been up it several times. It’s about a three mile round trip from my house.

The birds eat the seeds in the winter. I cut them in the spring before they start budding.

36 out there today, very warm for this time of the year but not unexpected with the El Niño weather pattern we are experiencing this winter. We could see 40 today with partial sunshine. Still have snow on the ground which is surprising with the overnight temps above freezing.

39° this morning on the dog walk. It hasn't been that cold in quite a while. I've got a bit of repair to do today and otherwise just a lazy afternoon. Cereal, banana, and coffee was breakfast faire this morning.

30’s today. Off to burn some black powder.

33 with some overnight rain/slush. High will be in the mid to upper 30’s with more of the same for the next few days. Then we expect more normal temps with lows in the 20’s and high’s in the 30’s. On the local news this morning there is a hint of maybe some real winter weather in a week or two including some mountain snow and possibly some measurable valley snow. The ski resorts will be happy for that.

I have a new workbench on order from Home Depot for my shop so yesterday I prepped the area for it. Today I’m planning on installing a shelf above where the bench will be and will be placing a work light on the bottom of the shelf. Pretty sad that I’m looking forward to this. I should have taken before pictures.
