Sized and primed 84 pcs. of brass for a caliber that I've never heard mentioned on this forum.
Even though Henry makes a rifle in this caliber, I own three, but none are a Henry. Wondering are ya??
35 Remington...
I also loaded 20 to take to the son-n-law to try in his Rem. 600.
I then loaded 5 more of a powder that I've never tried at all. Ramshot Tac.
I was told on another forum back in the summer that it was a good candidate for the 30-30 and 35R.
I found some a while back but hadn't tried it yet, and as a bonus has been the least expensive powder that I've found this year.
What I discovered was simply amazing with a 200 gr Hornady pill.
It shot so well in the chopped down Marlin that I loaded ten more to try 5 each in the other two 35s. I was.
Anyway I'm going to load 5 more to try in that 600 next week. ;)

Good luck with the 5 rounds in the 600. Always pretty satisfying when a test load works out so quickly.

Randy, you don't need all three of those .35 Rem's. Gimme one!
Just kidding bud, you know that. That is a dandy of a round and you have three fine rifles for it.
Enjoy shooting those.

Thanks Tom, I know you are just kidding around. It's all in fun and I love it.
I thought about a post in range reports and post the results, but
just figured most wouldn't be of interest as they aren't Henrys and like I said above I don't recall anyone here ever mention the caliber.
But, I can tell ya they do put the smack down on deer for sure.

Always interested in range reports from anything.

Used to have a Marlin in 35 rem but didn’t shoot it enough to get tot the point of reloading for it. Got it scoped and sighted in with the factory ammo that came with it. Funny side story, I sold it on the local guntrader site and when I met with the buyer it turned out he was a co-worker and somebody I knew pretty well. Due to screen names like on here we didn’t know that we did know each other.

Yesterday was Tim the tool man day here. I had a sliding door for the bedroom in the RV that was not installed right (imagine that in an RV) and it was falling down. After fixing that we went to a guys local storage garage and built another reloading bench for his 28 ga shotgun reloader. We call him grumpy doc. He is 79 years old and a retired Dr. He shoots with us but his knee is giving him fits. He also has been getting some injections up in San Antonio for another condition. Another guy and I built the bench for him and he should be all set now. Jay is a great guy and has given all of us a lesson or two in skeet shooting. I know he will like it. I also am able to reload 20 ga with a loader that was given to Jay and I by one of our fellow shooters wife. Denny passed away last July from cancer. His wife will be joining us down here in a few days.

My big New Years Eve celebrations was loading up some 454Casull rounds in anticipation of hopefully getting my replacement rifle from Rossi.

I loaded up 3 each of the 240gr xtp mags and 3 each of the 300gr xtp mags using new Starline, CCI450 small rifle mag primers and H110 and IMR4227. I chose to start in the middle of the load range from Hornadys 10th ed manual since their data is for a handgun and Ill be using a 20" rifle. I read ip on the specs for the bullets and both are rated to handle up to 2200fps. While I font anticipate those velocity levels the charges I chose should be up towards the upper limits of the bullets capabilities, for the 240 more than the 300gr.

So that's what a neat and tidy reloading bench looks like! I think mine looked like that on the first day (only)!
Seriously, nice set up.

A very nice looking bench you have there. Curious, what is the stainless looking tank on the left side of the bench?

Doin well RT, thanks for asking. Not spending any time on the bench, stockpiled too much ammo and have been working through it. I have been shooting more shotgun than rifle or pistol. I have the itch for a day with the 45-70 though. Been reading everyone's post, but not much to say since I have not been that active. (hard to believe I have nothing to say!).

It is a 22 L heavy duty Ultrasonic cleaner. I can clean several hundred large rifle brass at once. I also use it for cleaning tools.

So yesterday I loaded 450 rounds of 9mm with TMR's 124gr matchwinner bullets and ramshot Silohuette. Then I pulled out the 45acp ingredients to include some 200gr SWC bullets and the titegroup and concocted 300 of those to top off my range supply. Finally I loaded some ladders of 10mm using my new 200gr TC cast bullets. I started with A7 and some CFE Pistol. Never tried cast in my 10 before.

I actually shot the 10mm loads today and was not impressed so in to a few different powders I guess. These are just for range ammo but we still expect some modicum of accuracy. My 180gr jacketed RNFP loads with hs-6 is a 50yd load all day. My try it with the cast bullets next, or trueblue.

What were the 10mm loads that didnt work out. Ive been playing with 10mm the last few months. Mine is a Smith 610 4 inch. 6.2 grains of Unique worked ok. Also 10 gr of AA7 worked pretty good. I have HS-6 and did try some I think I was around 8 grains with it. I want to get some blue dot and AA9.

Pre primed 100 of 45/70 cases, 30/30 cases, .500 s&w cases. 40 S7W cases and 9mm+P. I typically keep at least 100 cases of all my rounds pre primes.
