Our Morning Coffee and Weather

Calm wind becoming west southwest around 5 mph in the morning.
Coffee is done. Carol has gone into St. Paul on Lawyer stuff for the day, so I'm Batching it.
I have a ton of leaves to blow so I guess I'll keep busy.
Last evening we met with our gun club couples for dinner at a local seafood place. They are all
leaving for Arizona in the next two weeks but we'll stay here until Feb. Carol has work and she wants
to stay until the last Grandchild has their birthday.

36 this morning with rain. Hopefully winter has come and gone. We’re looking at the 40’s for the high with rain for the first half of the day. Then rain and mild temperatures for the next several days going into next week. Nearly done with my winterization projects with the only items remaining on my list are to put fresh fuel and stabilizer in my 2 cycle stuff and do a final hosing off and fueling of the lawn mower. Waiting on that in case I need to suck up more pine needles.

It was 37° on the dog walk this morning. It's already warmed up to about 55° and we're supposed to be in the mid 80's again by Saturday. Today starts the Lone Star Rally in Galveston. I haven't had much work, and wouldn't you know it I got booked up all weekend, so the Rally isn't going to happen this year. I wish it had been last weekend when there wasn't anything to do. Oh, well. I just had cereal, toast and coffee for breakfast.

our first below freezing temp of this fall .... 28 this morning with a high of 56 later today ... gradual warming trend with the low tonight forecasted to be 31 and tomorrow's high to be 63 .... the warming trend is really good news, we have a Friday - Sunday camping trip with our club .... no rain mentioned until late next week ....

51 this morning and that is the lowest we have had since about three weeks ago when it was the same. Made it to the upper seventies at midday and it was nice to have open windows for a while. Friday will be a few degrees warmer.

I'm still blowing leaves. I just can't believe the amount of acorns on the ground this year.

27 a couple of hours ago, already up to 31 now, predicted high 64 .... shorts and sandals back out of the closet tomorrow and Sunday when the highs are supposed to be back in the 70's .... first up this morning is hauling off trash .... after we get back we need to finish packing the camper for a weekend with our camping club .... as noted above, the temps look great

Slept in a little waking up at 6:00 just in time for the local news. My wife was up early and bumped the thermostat to 68 and between that and a mild 41 out there I didn’t make a fire in the stove. Supposed to be a decent day on hand with overcast but little rain. High around 50. So today I’ll finish up my winterization projects putting fresh fuel in my 2 cycle equipment and washing the mower for the last time. Then I’ll pull all the batteries from the mowers and other electric starting stuff and put them in the basement for the winter. Boat and motor home batteries are on tenders.

Next week is supposed to be rainy so I’ll probably start my outdoor burning. I have several days worth to do. Some is at the bottom of my place and that will wait for snow.

It was 41°this morning on the dog walk. The little beagle drove me crazy as she was stubborn as hell and didn't want to go the way the other dogs were going. Typical beagle behavior. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. I've got a few clients today.

Good morning, it was 41° when I got up a couple hours ago. Headed for the low 70s.
Already had two does pass by this morning.
Went down and helped my buddy Eric yesterday. He was making a sleigh for a Christmas float, so I volunteered to help.
Our part is done, his wife will paint it.

A friend called yesterday and said one of the church's is having a Big rummage sale. Said they had some and reloading stuff.
So I'm headed down there very soon.
Maybe I find something I can use.

I just got a surprise call from someone who wants to look at the old motorhome this
afternoon. I'm all set to store it all Winter, but if they want to buy it, great.
I finished up all the yard work yesterday and planned to goof off today, but if I can sell it,
good deal. Our deer season started today and when I was a younger man I would be up and
at it, but I'm 83 and all my hunting friends are passed away. Getting old sucks, but not as
bad as not getting old.

this morning we are camped just off I-40 near Four Oaks .... 29 when the pup wanted to go out about 7AM .... 47 right now, on its way to a very welcome 73 later today .... looking forward to a balmy 36 tonight .... looking forward to a relaxed weekend

Thanks, it'll go on a trailer as a float, then it will be on display in town with the rest of their Christmas decor.
Took the two of us right at 6 hrs. His wife was tickled, so all is good.
