Was just watching Antique Roadshow and a guy brought in a well worn Colt factory engraved single action 45 that belonged to his great grandfather who was a Sheriff and a Chief of Police in Nebraska. The guy who appraised it said with the family and Colt documentation they would be able to sell it for $25,000.

Great Grandson thought it might be worth a couple of hundred…..apparently not a gun guy.
