So cool and refreshing! The feel like temp here today was 108F and same for Saturday.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We’ve been up that highway a time or two ourselves! You’re a long way from Ouray though in Evans…
One of my good friends is close to you in Windsor. Maybe you know him? His name is Bob. He lives near the airport.
That stems from meeting a friends in-laws (me-ma and pappy) in Tobaccoville NC. She said “oh, you’re from Canada? Do you know Bob? He lives near the airport”. It was a funny moment…

Fair, 59°F, Humidity 100%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.12 in
Sunny, with a high near 80.
North northwest wind 5 to 10 mph.
I'm up fairly early. Today we will travel to the small community where
I went to school for my 65th reunion. First all the survivors will meet for lunch, and
then this evening there will be a banquet at the old High School. It looks to be a
perfect day for it as well.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up early and enjoyed my first cup of coffee on the patio watching the sunrise. It was beautiful, the sun was still below the horizon but was just kissing some small clouds drifting by. I was too lazy to grab my phone and take a pic. 58 then but a fast warmup to 96 expected. Tomorrow brings winds and another chance of fire danger cooling down with a high of 88. Then hot again next week.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was a milder temperature this morning at 75°. It's a lot hotter now at 97°. We need rain badly. Grass is turning brown and it's dusty everywhere. I cooked up some pancakes, bacon, and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good morning, spent most of yesterday on the river.
This morning I got up and rang a couple gongs before it gets warm.
It's 75° now, with 91% humidity.
Got a 15% chance of rain and the predicted high is 90. Looks like 80's for the highs this next week.
May cut the grass this afternoon we will see.

84° and another hot day on tap. I'm definitely going to the range a bit later even though it's going to be a bit on the toasty side. I think I'll take the Savage 6.5 out. It shoots very well. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
58 this morning and heading to 88 with winds pending. Not a fire watch day as we have been having recently but a concern just the same. Back to the 90’s this week with little chance of rain. Last rain in the area was Julie 12th with only .12 falling. It’s toasty dry out there and the area is a tinder box ready to explode. Been lucky so far. Drove over to Idaho yesterday and the freeway follows the Spokane River somewhat. The river is very low and the city of Spokane has requested residents to only water lawns two days a week.

Fair. 63°F, Humidity 88%
Wind Speed Calm
Barometer 30.19 in
Sunny, with a high near 82.
Southeast wind around 5 mph.
No coffee as of yet. I slept in and it felt good.
Looks to be a nice week weatherwise.
Our youngest daughter brought her family out yesterday afternoon for swimming and burghers.
Her hubby is a great guy and he brought the burghers and buns and then cooked them on my
Blackstone. It was nice to sit back and let someone else do the work for a change. Carol made her
excellent potato salad and a tomato onion salad to go with them.
The nine year old grand son is learning to swim in our pool and doing very well. He's not the first.
There have been many children and grand children that learned to swim there.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
51 this morning on my thermometer but the weatherman said it is 44 in Deer Park. Either way it’s a pleasant morning. High of 87 later with still no chance of any rain for the foreseeable future. Three weeks since out last raindrop. Thankfully the earlier prediction for upper 90’s this week has been adjusted to low to mid 90’s. Tomorrow’s high is 88 so we’re thinking about getting up early and going fishing in the morning and then possibly taking the dog to a beach for some cool down in the water. (Me too)
Today my wife has a dr appt so we’ll do that and then I can come home and mow the lawn in the heat of the day. Dog is going to doggie day care and then to the groomers for a trim. The two business are owned by a husband and wife and are located with a common parking lot. So the pooch will move from one to the other by the folks who run the business. Pretty efficient set up.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
78° was the temperature at 6 this morning. Currently it is 85° and the high is supposed to be 104° today. I think I'll stay inside under the AC. I just had cereal with some banana and blueberries along with the coffee this morning. I've got some allergies going on today but don't know quite what it could be. I'll look into it on the weather channel. (edit: Allergen report says dust and grass are the culprits today.)

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Got up early (4:15) as we’re heading out fishing this morning. Currently 47 with a high of 92 so the plan is to be off the water by early afternoon (or sooner with a boat full of fish). Tonight is a super full moon which rises around 9:00 so we’re planning on watching that. Sure hope for a nap in between activities.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently it's 85° this morning and headed to 103°. That's the same high temperature we reached yesterday. It was still 98° at 8 p.m. last night. I didn't bother taking the dogs out on their evening walk. There's no rain in the forecast for the next ten days. If it makes it, then that will be over four weeks without any precipitation. It's very dry out there now.
I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.
