57 out there and it sure seems hot. Low humidity so it’s not that. High today of 90 with mid 90’s this weekend. Hitting the golf course today but since I made the start time it’s at 8:50 instead of the noon times my buddy makes. Would have preferred 7:00 but he’s not much of a morning person.

Toured the Tractor Supply yesterday and wasn’t too impressed. No hunting or fishing but they did sell gun safes. Go figure. Lots of empty shelves and pegs so the supply chain issues are still happening. We have a local store Bi-Mart and about 15 miles away a great farm and feed store North 40 and neither have anything to worry about with the new store. One positive is they stock Koehler filters so I can quit ordering them from Amazon.

Another day of never a good time to get work done outside... 8:45 AM and 81F with 87% Humidity. Then up into the 90's around Noon and beyond.
Yes it is hotter in other places!

Sorry about the hiatus. I've been busy with early morning appointments. Wednesday was my eye injections and yesterday was a dental appointment. I get back and have to play "catch up" on repair work. We had a low in the 70's this morning for the first time since May probably. It's supposed to heat up again next week as another high parks itself over the area ending our afternoon showers. I just had cereal and coffee this morning.

59 on my thermometer and according to the weather guy it’s 64 at the Deer Park airport. 94 later so it’s going to be hot. Thankfully around here we have low humidity so it’s bearable. We had a surprise pop up rain storm yesterday that rained hard for 20 minutes or so. Enough to give the ground a soaking that was very needed. Wish it had lasted longer but we are grateful for whatever we can get.

I’m planning on finishing up my firewood stacking and cleaning up my wood shed early this morning before it gets hot and then spending the afternoon avoiding the heat.

We got the RV home yesterday. Today I'm going to go over the systems to try
and learn all I can before we leave on Wednesday or Thursday for our trip.
We're going to Iowa to the Winnebago Grand National Rally. Once a year Winnebago
hold a rally on a campground they own which has around 2000 camp sites. There is
entertainment, seminars, free happy hours, food trucks and a lot of visiting with friends.
We've been going for years. This will be the first trip with this little RV.

63 this morning, man that’s warm for here. Hot today and hotter tomorrow with mid 90’s on tap. We may see a thunder storm this afternoon and again on Monday. Sure do want the rain but can pass on lightning. I believe that is what started the majority of the Canadian wildfires currently burning. Got my woodshed all cleaned and organized yesterday and today I’ll be making a run to the dump. On weekends they accept household hazardous waste and I have several gallons of used motor oil to dispose of plus a bunch of paints and other aerosols that are kaput. I hate to go on the weekend due to the crowd but for hazardous it’s the only option.

Cool and raining here. We head back today and the forecast is for several inches of rain on the North Scope. The pass is going to be difficult.

I was deluged with work again today almost from the time I got up, so this is an AFTERNOON morning report. It was a pleasant morning as the temps were where they should be normally at this time of year. It's heated up considerably as the day has progressed but I've been stuck indoors all day anyway. I did manage to eat some sausage and rice for breakfast. It's not my norm but was quick and easy to reheat.

It was another "cooler" morning today. It's supposed to be really hot this next week with no rain. It seems it's that way, either we have too much rain or not enough. I got busy trying to catch up on getting some instruments out of here today. I can start slowing down a little bit by midweek if nothing else comes my way. I just had some cereal, strawberries, and coffee this morning.

97 out there here at 3:30 pm. That is stupid hot. Thankfully the humidity is 16%. Dry as a popcorn fart out there. After a dump run this morning my wife, dog and me took a drive about an hour north to look at some property. 3.16 acres above Lake Roosevelt with a wonderful view and a two mile trip to the boat launch. Perfect to set up for an RV lot. I liked it and saw lots of potential as I’m properly equipped to make it nice with some mowing and a few trees to remove. However mrs. Hatchdog didn't care for it so bummer.

Oh, I do know that feeling. I had an RV picked out that was less money, longer, and had a three wheel scooter
on a lift on the back, but the lovely Mrs. Cooperhawk said, "I hate it!" Well, OK then I guess.
"I'm a man, but I can change, if I have to, I guess." (Red Green's Man Prayer).

Yeah, my wife is very supportive of my wants so I really can’t complain. She struggles to see beyond what is in front of her and can’t imagine what “it” will look like after improvement.

A very warm morning at 64 but this is one of the cooler locations around. Spokane and surrounding towns are all in the 70’s. Only mid 80’s today as we have thunderstorms heading towards us. Sadly little rain is contained in these storms but lots of possible lightning. Scary with as dry as it is around here.

We are dropping our motorhome off at the dealers today. The propane tank won’t fill up. The dealer (same dealer in another town) tried when I picked it up but thought their tank was empty. Took it to the station up the street and they couldn’t get any in. It has about a quarter tank according the the gauge. Probably not just an air purge as I watched the guys at the station do the proper bleed. Leaving one week from today for out next trip so hopefully this won’t take long to fix. (New valve maybe).

Carol also supports most of what I want, but just sometimes she Vetoes what I want as well. Happy wife, happy life.

A dealer once told me that if there were twenty motorhomes in the lot, nineteen had something that doesn't work.
Maybe even twenty. Take your time and work out the kinks. It's just like owning a house.
