Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another morning above 60 but still overcast and humid. No rain is expected on my head but there are showers around the area. Today we have a community work party filling potholes in our crappy road and extending the garbage can stand which is located on the main road outside the community. Should be just about perfect for outdoor work other than the mosquitos which are pretty thick this year.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Glad Carol is better brm! It's already 79° this morning with 87% humidity. The forecast is for us to be near 100° by Wednesday. The high today is supposed to be near 93°. I cooked steak and eggs this morning with a side of toast accompanied by the usual cup of coffee.

Got a Skype from son that lives in Denmark and another son that is deployed to Germany. My son drove to Germany and picked up his brother for the weekend which I thought was pretty cool.
Today’s agenda: mow lawn, prune trees and take rigs to grandkid’s car wash fund raiser for the softball team. Everyone have a great day!

I cant say I blame Phil for the intrusion but you know its happened to the best of us one way or the other. I was able to get out to shoot today. The range is quite over grown with weeds so I had to make adjustments to find my brass. Range time right now is for Revolters and 22. But I did shoot a new 9mm today that I am really impressed with.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Another morning of getting up before this sun, this nonsense has to stop! But wait, it sure is a nice morning on the patio enjoying that first cup of coffee. With all the rain we had today I’m going to mow some area’s I don’t water and get pretty dry so mowing is just sitting in a cloud of dust. So I wait for rain to do it as it keeps the dust down. Lots of mosquitos out this year and the little mothers will be active when I’m out there early this am.
54 degrees with now clear skies starting to appear. Looks to be a nice day and later I plan to put a chuck roast on the smoker.

Good morning.
Didn't look when I got up, but it's 69° now with a high later of only 79°.
Showers this afternoon it looks like, we could use a little so we'll just let it rain.

We got enough to moisten the soil down an inch but it’s still very dry. Currently it’s 47F and we have a frost warning for tonight.cooperhawk wrote: ↑Sun Jun 11, 2023 7:27 amFair, 50°F, Humidity 76%

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
The youngest daughter shot it yesterday, she went through 2 10 rd mags and 2 8 rounders.
She said she shot it better than her Ruger EZ 9.

68 this morning, heading to low 90's. Storm system moved thru last night. Lots of lightning and thunder, but not a lot of rain from it. Still got to get out and check for wind damage.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Cloudy here and only to the mid 60’s today. We got hammered again last night with more rain. Local rivers are outa there banks and the bike trail remains closed. Not sure what happened to the global warming

Sorry Sir Henry, back here in Warshingtn’ it’s a very pleasant 58 and sunny. High today is expected to be 88 which is too warm. Playing golf today with a noon tee off so it’s going to be a hot walk for 4.5 hours. Sure wish we were teeing off at 7:00 but my buddy who made the time doesn’t like to start his day early…..grrrrrrrr
So yesterday when I got up I went outside and noticed a purple aberration out in the trees at the side of my house. With all the talk about aliens and alien space craft and spy balloons in the news I was really concerned and a little scared. So being the brave man I am I sent Treydog out to investigate this phenomenon. After a good look Trey reported to me it was just an errant graduation party ballon.
