Whew!!!! That was a close one!!! :?

Well, since I have nothing else to add to the conversation, I guess my work here is done, hee hee....

Added in EDIT:

Mark, I do sincerely hope that you can find a rifle that checks all the boxes for ya. I went through a similar search for an inexpensive (I'm a cheap bastard, to my own detriment at times..... ) BB lever rifle. The first one that I bought has essentially become rustic decor, and then found the one that I shoot on the second try (the Umarex Legends Cowboy). I hope you can skip the kinda mistake I made on my first try........

Well...I decided to bite the bullet, ( pellet in this case 😁 ). Just ordered the Weirauch HW 95L from Airguns of Arizona. Supposed to ship by Tuesday.
I appreciate all the suggestions I've received from all who helped. My budget criteria was about 1/2 of what I spent, but, so it goes.

Congrats Mark. Hope to see some range reports. What pellets did you get to start with?

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

Actually, I was just getting ready to buy some, either online or go to Wally World. Any recommendations? Light, medium or heavy...brand?

JSB Exact try the 14 and the 15. Also H&N Field Target Trophy. Mine also liked the RWS pellets. I have some Norma pellets at home I bought but I havent shot them yet. Each gun has its own like for pellets. Buy small amounts of several and see what it likes

Congrats, Mark. All you'll be able to get at Wally is Crosman and though the Crosmans will sometimes shoot well, the QC from one tin to the next can be pretty bad and accuracy can be all over the place. Take Al's advice and stay with JSB, H&N or RWS. Awfully hard to beat the H&N FTT for a do it all pellet.

Thank you both very much. It saves me a good amount of money, knowing what to start with. Gosh...there are sooo many to choose from. 🤔

Mark, you have made a very fine choice. I'm sure you will be pleased with your purchase.
Don't be surprised at how it likes the better brands of pellets. As NCG has stated, the Crosman's you get at Walmart are VERY hit or miss.
If you go with Crosman pellets, get the ones that come in the cardboard box. When you find pellets your gun likes, stay with them.

I'm hoping to see a range report soon.

Thank you Dave.
I did revisit the links that you sent me and was very tempted by the pump-up you suggested because it is very much like my old Sheridan pump that I've been shooting for about 40 years now. ( Ouch!..I'm old ). As far as pellets go, I've got a few in the Amazon cart to choose from. I think I'll go that route as opposed to Wally World. A nice rifle deserves a quality diet. I will keep in mind what you say about the Crossman pellets.🙂👍
