Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Little Girl has an automated cat feeder that will last three weeks and the sitter left extra water. I’m taking a 97 year old resident of 70 plus years to Texas in a van I bought specifically for her so yes the neighbors are really nice to me.
We are currently staying at mummy’s grandson’s home. He has a ten year old son that broke his leg and is sleeping downstairs in the guest bedroom so I’m staying in his. Axle the family dog likes to wake him up in the morning but guess who gets woke up with a large dog jumping on the bed!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
67° and a little mist falling this morning. I don't think that was predicted. The high should be in the low 80's again by late afternoon. Currently we have 98% humidity but that will go down after the clouds move out. I just had cereal and coffee this morning for breakfast.

Gene, you didn’t bring the cat with you? That cat is going to be pretty upset with you when you get home!

68 here on the third coast. Supposed to be 71 today. Cloudy right now with 99% humidity. Shot skeet yesterday with the guys. Shot the best score I have ever shot on the second round. I shot a 21 out of 25. First round wasnt bad either just missed a couple more.

Woke up to 1 above but it’s a nice toasty 9 right now. We do have a nice bright sun in the sky and the winds have calmed down considerably. We’re heading into Spokane later to go to the Home and Yard show. Pretty hard to imagine outdoor projects on days like today.
In fact, it’s so cold out that our long haired dog needed a blanket.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We must be on the edge of the cold front over here. Got down to 13F last night, it's 31 right now. Predictions are for highs in the low 40's for the next couple of weeks. I'm ready for Spring, we should be in the low/mid 50's by now.

Little Girl stayed home and is being pampered by the neighbor. As paid staff I’ve negotiated two weeks paid vacation a year.

Good morning, 44 and wet here, with a high of 50 later.
Our granddaughter brought her son into this screwed up world yesterday afternoon.
Making us Great-grandparents.
Wyatt, he's a little thing at just under 4 lbs., and
arrived a little early.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
We got about 2 foot of new snow. That's on top of three foot already on the ground.
Meanwhile here in Alamogordo it's clear and 46 going for a high in the 70s.
We went to visit my old Vietnam friend bill yesterday. Just as nice a man as I remember,
He made us feel very welcome and even made burghers and fries for us last evening.
We're going to see him again today.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently 3 out there but the high is forecast to be 36 so it looks like this cold spell will be in the rear view mirror soon. Thankfully the wind has stopped so while 3 is friggin cold it’s much better that -20 wind chill we had. Heading to downtown Spokane (yuk) today for the golf show meeting a couple of buddies there. Then tonight is the “big game”. Gonzaga men’s basketball plays St Marys of Moraga CA for the conference championship. ESPN has brought their College Game Day broadcast to Spokane (that’s a big deal) and the show starts here in a few minutes. Game is at 7:00 tonight.

A cool 63° and a bit of mist in the air this morning on the dog walk. I did spot the following critter on top of a neighbor's home. To each their own, I guess. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast.

One more day here. We would have left today but high winds are forecast this afternoon.
I spent the afternoon with my good friend Bill, and then Carol joined us for rib eyes with all the fixings.
He lost his wife years ago and lives a solitary life so he's enjoying company.
This evening Carol is Making a pot roast with the trimmings to take to his home for dinner.
Bill was an Army staff sergeant and has over 35 air medals from Vietnam.
