Lever action rifle demand single action revolvers. ;)
What cal. is said rifle?

RP
That could be 44 or 357M?

Inquiring minds would like to know.

Mine is 357M, it's an H012MX.

The photo reveals it's a 357/38 caliber. I have my H006M paired with a Taylors/Uberti SmokeWagon SAA 357. Love them both. Good luck with yours, Paratrooper.

I originally settled on the 357. Have never regretted it. Yeah, the 44mag is bigger. And the 45 colt is So traditional. But, nothing is more effective, or sexy. Lol.

Could you please share the details on that scope? Mainly length and objective size. I’m about to scope mine and I like the looks of yours but wouldn’t want anything bigger.

This one... Open it in a new tab or window and zoom in. It's stamped just under the semi-buckhorn.

Rifle is the .357.

As far as what sidearm, this is where my preference is out of it. I would prefer something akin to a Colt Single Action Army Revolver in .357, but her idea is something that matches the wood of the Henry. Something with a 4-to-6-inch barrel would work, as a back up for the rifle when hunting. I have to remove the magazine tube or otherwise make the rifle single shot to meet the criteria for IL to hunt with it. So a side arm makes sense that meets the criteria. Nothing says I can't carry both.

Leupold VX-Freedom 3-9x40mm Riflescope. I don't remember the dimensions off hand for length. Found it on Amazon for just under $300.

That’s an awesome scope and if you want something a bit smaller Leupold makes it in 2-7x32 (or 33 maybe).
