Youth stock arrived FREE

Post by Oldbrass » Tue Feb 14, 2023 12:55 pm

I'd normally post this in the rimfire forum but that will be in a few days in range reports.. First a big thanx to Henry. Last week I called customer service about a youth stock for the Golden boy letting them know I love the rifle, it was a gift and the LOP is a bit long for my small stature.. The nice lady got my info and said they'll send it out ASAP and even pay shipping..Dumbfounded I said "Wait I haven't paid yet" she replied " Ken we want our customers to be happy and thanks for choosing Henry" OMG What company does this ? HENRY THAT'S WHO, still can't believe it.

Wow, great customer service there. Congratulations to you on a new stock and congratulations to Henry for going above and beyond yet again.

I hope other companies are watching. This is the way customer service should be. It helps build loyal followers, like me.

I've had that happen twice.
First was with the H001, I wanted to replace the plastic barrel band with the metal one.
Then years later after buying the 41 mag, I called to order the scope rail for it.
Same thing, we'll get it right out to ya.
Would not take a payment either time.

They sent me a stock to turn a Mares Leg into an SBR for free too. It’s so easy to make lifelong customers out of people. Just give them great customer service!

So I has to call HRA 3x today. I ordered a scope mount for my .44 BBSC and 4 days later it still hadn’t shipped. Twice got their answering service who assured me I would receive a call back shortly. Then I get an email a few minutes later saying my order was “cancelled at my request”!?!? Then I get another email saying HP is closed for inventory and if I want to reorder, I’ll have to do it after January 27th… I’m thinking maybe they mean Feb 27, or it’s going to be one heck of await for parts!

So I call customer service and speak with Nydia. She was, as expected, amazing. Apparently I might need a new hammer if I want a hammer extension, and they will send me that free on Monday assuming my serial number says I need one. Being that it’s a whole bunch of zeros followed by 3 numbers, I likely will. Since they erroneously canceled my mount order, and their answering service was a mess, anyone else think some parts (hammer, extension and scope mount) are going to arrive for free? I certainly don’t expect it, but knowing their service, I won’t be surprised…

Well, a whole bunch of phone calls from them cancelling my order “at my request” (which I didn’t request), we figured out they can’t ship parts to my USA warehouse, because my business is based in Canada, and there is an assumption that ITAR will be violated (it won’t), has lead to:

They will ship to my Canadian address for free, but won’t let me pay to ship to my US address🤔

As always, the customer service people find a way to make things work, and Henry owners smile!
