FNG

Post by edub3535 » Mon Oct 24, 2016 3:59 pm

Hello folks, I am Eric. I don't personally own a Henry but will shortly as soon as I can find one of the Long Rangers in .308. Just found out about these and now its a must have. Found this site looking for intel on the rifle. I do have a Henry Golden Boy .22 in the safe, gave it to my son for his 10th birthday a couple of years back.

If anyone has some hand-on experience with the LR in .308 feel free give a review. Thanks and have a good one!

Welcome from the ridiculous state of California! First new member to introduce himself as FNG....

You will find a few threads and links to videos in this forum about the Long Ranger in 308 but not a lot considering how new this rifle is.

Follow Up: ordered me a Long Ranger in .308 and an All-Weather in 45-70. Just waiting to pick them up from my FFL. Excited to officially be a Henry owner!

congratulations indeed .... what a great combo .... 308 caliber rifles are capable of making shots hundreds of yards longer than most people pulling their trigger .... the 45-70 can deliver a devastating punch close to moderate ranges .. 8-)
