75 and balmy 97% humidity, hi today of 84 , our daily thunderstorm this afternoon.

Mid 70’s and sunny after morning fog. The weather here has been perfect for the last month. Rain at times but mostly sunny and cool. The relative humidity is higher yet the lower temperatures keeps it just right.

56 heading to 90 with sunny skies. Yesterdays hope for some rain fizzled but it was nice to have the cooler temps from the overcast. But it did clear up in the afternoon and warmed up a bit. Today we’re making a trip to downtown Spokane , my wife’s computer is dying and she wants to trade it in before it’s too late. Stupid planned obsolescence from Apple. The I-Pad I’m typing on right now is starting to have issues too but I’ll hand on as long as I can.

Every year the labor union I’m retired from has a charity trap shoot. The trap club we have always shot at is moving to a new location so our event has been moved to a Sporting Clays club. Last year was the first shoot there and I missed it due to a schedule conflict. The shoot is this coming Saturday and I’m registered. I have never shot Sporting Clays before so I expect it to be a humbling but fun time.

Hatch I shot clays once around 1992. I was tasked to provide training for (engaging aircraft with small arms fire) so I took my squad to the back 40 on FT Polk and we busted a few cases. The commander got PO'd but the CSM got wind and brought his shotgun. The commander changed his tune and also busted a few clays

I’ve shot a lot of trap but this will be my first venture into Sporting Clays. I understand that this will be more like a field hunting experience including som low fliers that mimic a running rabbit. It’s going to be fun but I’m not expecting to do great. My reactions are getting slower now that I’m on Medi-Care.

I used to shoot on skeet leagues back in the 80's and 90's (about 20 years). I enjoyed it but it was time consuming and not always enjoyable company. Some of the shooters can get really pithy. I finally gave it up and sold my clay guns. I never was into trap that much although I did shoot some for personal pleasure. We were supposed to get a lot of rain last night and got absolutely nothing. The front broke up and went around us on both sides. There's more rain in the forecast today.....we'll see. Right now it's 79° with 84% humidity. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

I've shot a lot of skeet in leagues over the years and Sporting Clays kick my butt even though I am a scratch
skeet shooter. I've shot many perfect 50s in skeet, but SCs are a different game altogether.
Fun though.

Carol's Bosch dish washer is not working correctly and I am trying to find the problem.
I think the swing arm is plugged but she still has dishes in there so I'm waiting until I
can take it apart.

79° with 86% humidity. It rained a bit over night and there is supposed to be more rain today. I've got a moderate amount of work to do today. I cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast.

60 heading to 86 with thunder storms in the forecast. Hitting the golf course so hope the storms hold off for a while. Both for safety on the course and to get home to enjoy them with my wife. We’re storm nerds, love to watch them.

Me too. At one point in my career I was put through the US Weather School and got my basic license.
The problem was I did not have a degree in meteorology and that was required to advance, but the real
reason I left was because the FAA paid a LOT more money.

I love watching T-Storms. They're like a living thing. First a thermal or lifting agent such as a cold front under warm
humid air, the building stage, the mature storm and then dissipation. All in matter of usually minutes. I find them fascinating.

Having a quiet cup of coffee. The drought appears to have been weakened over the last few weeks. Praise the lord for that. Back to mowing my yard my mother's yard and the cemetery...better than dry weather and a good trade in my book. If I get time today I may run to town and see if I can come up with a nice big pile of reasonablely priced 22 bullets... ya just can't have too much of some "stuff."... just one man's opinion.... not pushing my ideas on others.... just sayin.......

first day back from spending the summer in South Dakota .... 66 degrees with 98% humidity .... 25% chance of rain, 3% chance of thunderstorms .... first thing up this morning a medical appointment for Maureen, I have one this afternoon .... grocery shopping and dropping off prescription refills on tap .... we hope to begin unloading the camper but are in no hurry to do so

LGS had bricks of CCI standard velocity for $43.50. Haven't seen those in any quantity for a while so I picked one up.

66 degrees this morning, too warm but the cloud kept the heat in. High is 87 with a slight chance of thunderstorms today. Not a drop of rain for us yesterday but some areas nearby got a deluge.

Busy day today, first up is to finish my firewood splitting before it warms up. Then I need to pull the screens off the windows and hose them off. We have a window washer guy coming later today. Then I need to mow and finally put the screens back on the windows.
