The "mystery box"

Post by bandit1250 » Sat Oct 15, 2016 8:05 pm

Ditto1958 and Retired Seabee wanted to know what was in the "mystery box" that I took the picture of the Remington stock on top of it. The box contains a 452 CZ 17 Mach2 that I had ready to take to Saturdays gun show to sell. I don't use it so it needs to go as I am going to thin down mine and my wife's collection. The black case behind it is a 1894 Marlin 44 Magnum with the ported 16 1/4" barrel that went along also. Never even took them in the two shows I went to they were that bad. Gun shows are about a thing of the past and are getting to be a joke. Pay to get in to look at tables full of flea market items. I can go to flea markets and get in for free and don't have to put up with a bunch of big headed FFL dealers. I may list them in a traders magazine or have them put on the internet. They are both seldom seen models and are usually not hard to sell. The CZ is a Davidson's model that has the center fire checkering and the rubber butt pad and a life time warranty. The 44 I believe was a two year made gun. Here is a picture of them.

Beautiful guns bandit, especially that Marlin.

I prefer the looks of the straight stock on lever guns, and that one is a beaut.

So do I. Pistol grip stocks are okay on bolt actions though.
