80° this morning with 87% humidity. Today is a little cooler with high predicted of 96°. I got through the MRI yesterday all right. Gee, it seems like it takes forever when just lying there for 35 minutes. I go to the surgical oncologist and get to find out, if anything, there is different from last time on Friday. I just had cereal and coffee for breakfast this moring.

GD#1 just got back from specialist, her Gastroparesis is in complete remission, still on special diet but has gained a little of her weight back. She is gaining strength and has more vigor, she plays softball, goes to weight room and speed training and volleyball camp. Best of all she comes get me to go to shooting range. 👍

Hot dry summer day. All things considered things are staggering along ok in my corner of the brush, so supping on a cup of hot tea and calling it a good start this morning. I hope everyone else says the same.

About the same here. Except I’m drinking iced tea. Already in 70’s this morning. We need rain.

Folger and cookies.
One more day and then we can bring our vehicles home and use the new bridge. :D
Another nice day but we need rain badly. There may be some T-Storms tonight.
I'll work on cleaning up the driveway today. I need to blade it after the bridge install.
It's going to be hot again.

80° with 88% humidity. It's supposed to get to 102° this afternoon. I was planning on going to the range today, but I think I'll just stay in the AC. Just had cereal and coffee for breakfast this morning.

Woke up to a beautiful 49 degree sunny morning. Looking at 71 and sunshine for the day. Local weather guy said that yesterday Spokane hit 80 for the first time since September 2021. He said it’s been 280 something days since we have last seen 80.

My sympathies to you poor folks suffering the heat and humidity. I get  in the winter when you are enjoying mild conditions but right now I feel :( for you.

Today’s project is to do a major cleaning of the garage. It’s still wearing it’s winter grime. The weather has been too crappy to move everything out and clean it up.

Partly Cloudy 73°F 23°C
Humidity 57%
Wind Speed S 7 mph
Barometer 29.93 in
Lemon Meringue Pie and Folgers. :D
It's a pretty morning but they say it will get hot later.
Hooray, I'm going to open the bridge today. It should be cured by now.
That means we can bring our vehicles home and not have to climb the hill through
the woods to the neighbors to use them.
We missed the rain last night, (it went way north of us), but they say more is coming tonight.
We need rain.

Right now it's 79° with 89% humidity. We broke another record high yesterday at 102°. Still no rain in the forecast through next week. Today's high is predicted to be 98°so we'll see. I don't think 4° difference will be much. I've got to scoot to see the oncologist. I'll report on the status when I return. I just had cereal and coffee this morning.

The daughter and the 2 youngest are headed back to SC Sat.
The oldest 2, 5 & 7 are staying an extra 3 weeks.
Happy Fri. everyone.

Holy cow roper (pun intended) our local weather guy showed a big precipitation mess up your way.

Here we have a nice 46 degree sunny morning with a forecast of 71. Heating up this weekend and the prediction for Monday is 90. Just finally his 80 this week and now 90??? Spokane has a huge 3 on 3 street basketball tournament that’s a huge deal and this weekend it will happen for the first time since 2019. Good weather other than a bit warm. One year we had triple digits for the event which is played in downtown Spokane where all the asphalt and concrete trap and expand the heat. Yuk.

Got the garage cleaned yesterday and Mrs. hatchdog helped. Or more accurately took command of the chore. We completely emptied the garage of everything on the floor except for my bench and two shelf units. Then everything was cleaned and put back into place. I have to admit the end result is great but I would never have put that effort in without her direction. Of course her way took all day.

The end result: (as usual I didn’t think to take a before picture)

It's Hot. To hot to shoot, to hot to fish. Too Damm hot to do anything outside :-(>
Just going to hang out inside, and inventory my shot shell loader and supplies. I used to load 75 shells a week for trap shooting. Don't do that much anymore. I reckon the shells I load from here on in will be defensive loads. I've got some research to do. Stay frosty out there. Cheers!
