It's HOT & MUGGY! I've got 2 new guns to site in, a ton of landscaping to be done around the new pool, a truck that's apart right now, until the temp in my garage gets below 90°. I'm pretty much at a stand still. I draw the line at 2 showers a day. Never seen it this bad in E.TN. I can't help but think of those people of the 1800's and such. Tough folks.

Hot and muggy here as well in SE TX. We're forecast to have a new record high. Right now, it's 84° with 82% humidity. Cooked sausage, eggs, toast and coffee this morning. I'm going to finish up that sax repad today and see if I can sell it.

Busy day today, transporting grandkids to weight training, volleyball camp, summer reading program and culminating tonite with softball games. This weekend is “Trail Days”, parade, bull riding, street dance and a concert. Everybody have a great day!

50 heading to 68 with a light overcast. No rain until Friday night when we expect possible thunderstorms.

Planning to be married to a lawn mower today, both the lawn and the non-irrigated treed areas. Different mowers for each. And weed whacking too. All the rain we have had this spring has everything growing at a fast rate.

Got the pool filled, backwashed and rinsed new sand. Chemicals added and water circulating for the next 24 hours. Then we built the ladder. Talk about 2 monkeys trying to ____ a football lol. It was 86° with humidity around 80%. We were completely drenched wrestling around the patio, and then tne garage. FINALLY.
Tomorrow we swim, but still have a lot of work to make it all right.

Already 80 here this morning. Didn't check the humidity but I'm sure it is up there too. Just had cereal and coffee this morning.

Woke up to a nice 50 which is predicted to climb to 76 later. Nice sunny skies as I type this and had to close the blinds. Haven’t had that “problem” much this spring with our very limited sunny days so far.

Got a bunch of mowing and trimming done yesterday and will continue today. Neighbor had a large tree next to his house cut down and it had to be dropped in sections. I’m going to haul the logs home to cut up for firewood. Maybe a thunderstorm tonight.

86° at noon. Pool felt great after mowing, and 5 loads of wood chips out of my Honda side by side. Without that machine, it would be a lot harder. Gotta love that dump bed. Breakfast held up all morning, but I'm ready for noon chow. Cheers!

I got up to a beautiful day, bright sun, light winds, 70s, but my daughter was leaving this morning.
We had a rally nice visit and I like her hubby a lot. We sat on the front deck taking in the morning sun
for quite a while drinking coffee, and then they packed up and were on the road by 10:30.
Now back to our normal routine.
So the county laid a new cap on our service road this week, then came yesterday and landscaped the
shoulders. Nice.
The electrician came and told us where to site the Generac and how to pour a slab for it. They will be
pouring our new bridge next week and they will do the slab at that time as well.
I got a news report this morning that Minnesota will experience rolling blackouts this Summer. No new
generating plants and a lot of solar and wind, but when it's overcast and the wind is calm they will not
be able to meet demand. Well, we'll have our own power source.

Summer heat wave is here ahead of schedule this year..I do my stuff early and then head to the shade... I figure I don't have enough brain cells left to be risking heat stroke..

I get up before sunrise to enjoy the beauty and have a cup of coffee. I’ll be up for a couple hours and it’s common for me to go back to bed.

Going to be a little more bearable here this weekend, highs only in the upper 80's, vs mid to upper 90's.
Having a Birthday party for the youngest grandson, he'll be 2 next week, but we partying tomorrow.

T-storms in the area. Off to a gun show today. Yesterday went to the city and traded a couple of guitars I don’t play so much anymore for one I will. Picked up a nice Les Paul Standard 60’s model by Epiphone.
