63° out and pcldy. Getting up to 83 today. Breakfast is long gone, and I'm ready to continue work on the pool area.

Got the spot dug out and level. Monday they will begin putting the pool together. Can't wait. Got the yards cut yesterday, so today should be an easy day. Cheers

Morning 63 here this AM, just had some new kitchen appliances delivered, so guess what I'll being doing here shortly?
Looking good there das. I mowed Thurs. morn., so that's behind me for another week.

Carol woke me early this morning. She looked out the bedroom window and a snapping turtle was
poised to jump into our pool. It's happened before. The first weeks of June are when they lay their
eggs, well, anyway, Here I am at 6 AM using a shovel to block the movements of a very large
Alligator Snapping Turtle. Did I mention that it was also raining? So I finally herded it out
of the pool area and closed the gate. It's now in the front yard digging. It's uncanny that there is
only one area where they can get under the fence around the pool, and they seem to always find
it. In past years they've gotten in the pool and then the rodeo begins.
I mowed yesterday so today I can take it easy with our daughter and her hubby arriving tonight.
I actually filled my gas tank yesterday for twenty bucks.Course it was the lawn mower, but I'm
still damn proud.

56 heading to 60 ish with a light rain. Have a community meeting today at 9:00 am and weather depending we’ll be doing some road clean-up afterwards. I filled all the potholes yesterday but a lot of loose gravel needs to be swept/blown to the side of the road. Tough to move wet gravel so we may wait.

Looking at the local weatherman as I type this and he’s showing a shot of Spokane and with the low ceiling it looks like a November day.

Another beautiful and mostly sunny day here in Dacotah. Currently 73 with an expected high of 87. Mostly yard work this morning and work on model train sets later. Everybody have a great day!

Glad its Sunday and a day of rest... sorted off calves to sell and some cull cows yesterday. My son brought a gooseneck trailer and some cow calf pairs we had bought a month ago that he had been keeping at his farm. Unloaded them at one place ,loaded up some cull cows and calves there and we hauled them over to the other place to put with the rest of the calves I had sorted off in a corral there....time we were finished I was pretty sure I'm getting old... i was completely sure I was wore out... so, im glad today is a day of rest......looks like it will be a hot one too.... take it easy folks.....

Good morning, 72 here and headed towards 91 it says.
Woodswalker, my brother and I used to run some cattle for a pretty good while.
Sold out a few years ago, I remember separating cows and calves.
One of the kinda local auction barns had their sale on 1st and third Mons.
So we would gather them on Sun. afternoon, then take them over.
Always enjoyed hay season, usually get a shot or two at some coyotes too.

68 degrees earlier this morning. Already showing 78 and heading to the 90’s. Right now though I’m enjoying my tea.

53 with some mixed sunshine and clouds, a nice morning so far. More rain is expected later today and again tomorrow. I keep telling myself remember this when I whining in August that it’s hot and dry.

We’re leaving Wednesday for a five day trip to a big reservoir near Grand Coolee Dam. So today I’ll pull the trailer out of the shop and start preps. Planning on spending a couple of nights in it in the driveway with the pup. Could be interesting.

Hot here today already 70 at 8 am. Better get on the bike trail early. Not sure what other trouble I can find to get into today but Im sure something will show up

88° with 71% humidity. The moisture in the air will pick up a bit due to the southerly wind flow we have coming off the gulf. It's supposed to hit 100° today. We'll see. Just had cereal, strawberries and coffee this morning.

Last day of vacation. Will be going part time at work. With the economy as it is I need to keep socking something away. 70º and going to hit mid 80s. Finishing up a drop box and sign for my fledgling chainsaw, mower blade, tool and knife sharpening endeavor. Need to create some extra income and there is no competition here so we shall see. Plenty of commercial mowers around and I have one contracted. Have to get the word out more but right now it looks like the chainsaw business is showing the most interest. Hope everyone has a good day.

75 earlier this morning. High today predicted 97 with heat index 105-110. Granddaughter opened at work this morning at 6:30. Done drove 25 miles to surprise her with bisquit for breakfast. Got to finish putting plywood floor in utility trailer. Hope everyone has a good day.

It's currently 68 with 69% humidity. The high today should be 72. There is a breeze coming through the patio screen that is very pleasant.

Coffee is in the Henry mug today. A full pot will likely be consumed as usual.

I put the gardens in this weekend in between the part time job. A few finishing touches and then they will be finished.

House cleaning on tap for today.

83° with 86% humidity and high pollen. I guess it's a weather trifecta for staying inside today. It's supposed to hit 99° again today as it did yesterday. Cooked eggs, sausage, toast and coffee for breakfast. I got a bit of work to do today so I can pay bills!

41 heading all the way to 51 with a heavy rain overnight. The rain has become pretty light for now but is supposed to last all day.

I have some preps to do but fortunately today’s projects will be in the shop not outside. Planning to install an XM radio and a net holder in the boat and get tackle ready.
