Alright! Enough of this cold weather. Time for some sunshine and warm weather.
They say by next weekend we'll be back to normal.
Carol is getting better. She actually smiled and laughed last evening watching TV.
There is light at the end of the tunnel Al.
A VFW friend came out yesterday afternoon and we cut a pickup load of firewood for him.
It was a fun time and he's a really nice guy. I have a lot of firewood to get rid of.

37 with a bright beautiful sun rising. Watched it crack the horizon earlier and it was inspiring. High today here at home is supposed to be around 67 and where we are going boating here in a little bit it’s supposed to hit 70. While it’s further north the water we’re heading to is lower in elevation so it tends to be a little bit warmer. Light winds which are a welcomed bonus. That water can whitecap pretty easily as it’s a huge reservoir and the wind can pick up momentum without any obstacles.

Glad you're feeling better Al. I wonder if Sir Henry didn't stop off for a spicy beef sandwich in Minneapolis and fall asleep
in their parking lot.

Sure hope he's OK.

Thunderstorms rolled through early this morning giving much needed relief from our drought situation. We got about an inch and a quarter and could use a lot more to get caught up. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee this morning.

Hit 94 F at my place yesterday. The exterior temp sensor is in the shade most of the daylight hours. I was warm.
80 F today with thunderstorms coming in to cool things down.
Coffee in the Farmall mug and George Winston on the speakers.
I'd like to get some plowing in today, we'll see how it goes.
I hope you are feeling better Al.
Enjoy your day everyone.

Mark, I'm glad to hear that you like his music too. I try to play his music on Sunday especially. I have almost all of his albums. I got to see him in concert at a small venue once. I couldn't have picked a better seat if I tried. He is a very gifted performer.

73 this morning and cloudy. Supposed to rain again later this afternoon. Just ate cereal, banana, and coffee. I'm sitting in the dermatology office waiting to be seen. They're just going to check a couple of areas the cut on last March.

What’s the old commercial?

“Say Pepsi please” :D

39 with filtered sun and an expected high of around 60 and some rain and possible thunderstorms this afternoon. Later this week we are expected to see our first 70 degree day. But, or course by the weekend the highs are back to 60.

Had a fun day on the lake yesterday other than the rough water with a 1.5-2’ chop. Last summer we spent several days there and the water was flat. Hope this chop thing is a spring condition. It won’t be a problem for fishing but right now I’m breaking in the motor and I need to run at different rpm’s including wide open. To darn rough for 40+ mph.
