We've been visiting the daughter in SC, well this morning I took the wife to the airport in Florence as she has a drs appointment tomorrow.
So I decided to check out some pawn and gun shops in the area.
In one shop they had 7 Henrys the most I've seen all year in one spot.
But this other shop, he has an old Savage trench gun and after discussing it he says you'll probably like this, and he pulls down this old shotgun.
Heck I forgot to even ask the maker, but very cool.
It had 1858 carved into the opposite side of the buut stock.

Spring has sprung. Get out and shoot your Henry

No. Sir. It was not for sale, it or the trench gun. Just a couple neat pieces of History.
Not sure how I never asked tbe maker.
He had a unique sword also.
