Well, at least the wind finally went down. It's still cold. Way below normal.
Shop work today. I have been requested to make some more serving trays and cutting boards.
Keeps me busy.

31F going to 40F. It's unusual for this time of year, but we have about a foot of snow on the ground and more coming.

Coffee is in the National Jamboree mug this morning.
I might have to use the tractor at the stepson's if this doesn't stop soon.

When I got up about 2 hours ago I heard about the big snowstorm hitting Upstate New York. Thought about you Dave and figured you were getting a pounding. Well, the evidence is in and I was right. Sorry for you…
Here in the Inland Pacific Northwest we have 33 heading to the low 50’s. Had a good rain overnight and it’s clear skies right now. Finished my lawn thatching yesterday so it’s nice to see the rain. Thought I would turn on the sprinklers and fertilize today but tonight’s low is expected to be 27 so I’ll wait a few days.

I nice and cool 59° this morning. I enjoyed getting out early with the dogs in short sleeves enjoying the cool temps. Just had cereal and coffee this morning.

80 deg here today and none of that snow stuff. Had to take the fifth wheel to get some warranty work done. They got me all done and taken care of. I think Im good for a day or two now until I use it again.

Hardly any snow left here. 37F headed to 45. The best part is it’s not going to freeze at night and on Saturday the high will be 69F. Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Amend that Folgers and Orios.
Carol made my favorite breakfast sandwich for me instead.
Shaved ham, fried egg, cheese, Miracle Whip on a toasted sesame seed bun.
When I was working I would order that in the cafeteria quite often, only with bacon.
Good stuff!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
32 heading to the low 50’s with a sunny day forecast. Then rain coming in tonight and continuing into tomorrow. Was supposed to play golf tomorrow but with the prediction of possible thunderstorms plus the rain I think I’ll wait for a better day.
Today we’re taking a trip up to our place near the Canadien border. We’re planning on spending more time there this year as it’s not too far from the Columbia River where we plan to do most of our fishing. It will need a big clean-up with lots of mowing involved. We haven’t spent much time up there lately and it’s suffering from neglect.

Happy to see another who is a fan of Miracle Whip. I can’t eat an egg or chicken sandwich without it!cooperhawk wrote: ↑Wed Apr 20, 2022 9:47 amAmend that Folgers and Orios.![]()

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
56° and cloudy. 1st cup of coffee is down, dogs walked and fed. Breakfast is coming, just not sure what it'll be. The wife and I stained 240' of fence yesterday. Just the good side. We're going to wait to do the inside in a couple of days. We're pretty sore. 7 gallons so far. I'm going to need another 5 gallons. $$$. Cheers

Supposed to be a nice day. Not real warm, but in the high 40s.

I'll work in the shop today and I just might get the old 8N our and blade the driveway.
I have a load of class 5 ordered to patch potholes, but still waiting on it. Road postings are in the way right now.

75° this morning and the humidity is back. Just had cereal and coffee this morning. Sister-in-law has a doctor appointment this morning so we'll be going through that ritual of getting her off the bed with the Hoyer lift and into her wheel chair. We'll see what can go wrong this time.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
40 heading to 52 with rain overnight and more predicted for today with some possible thunderstorms. Not sure what I’ll do today but I sure would like to get some fertilizer on the lawn before it rains again.
We took a trip up north yesterday and checked out our property. Not as bad as I thought but of course the worst place is right where we park our trailer. We’ll have to go up for a day and clean this spot up before taking the trailer up there. Somewhere behind all the Thistle there is a gravel RV pad.
We checked out the boat launches on the Columbia River and the four closest to our place are all not usable due to the water level. The reservoir is currently at 1248 ft above sea level and these launches require 1277 ft which is nearly full pool. I understand it won’t be until late June until the reservoir is brought up to full. Fortunately there is a launch a bit further away (20 miles or so) that will remain usable to 1220 ft. The only time the water drops that far is when the Grand Coulee Dam needs maintenance. That’s only happened once in the last 30 years that I can recall. I should have taken a picture, it’s pretty desolate looking when the water is as low as it is right now.
