I can’t wait to get out and build my shooting range. The local post office wants me to put up a mail box as they have to hold my mail.

It’s nice to get out and shoot even if it’s only for ten minutes. In the meantime I’m spending way too much money online buying targets, traps and spinners.

If you have the money Gene I would put up a pole shed to keep your toys in. It makes a huge difference.
Mine is 40x60 with a crushed rock floor. I have enough room to even store some friends old cars and boats,
as well as our motor home, boat, and tractors, ect.

You can also put up a short range inside for smaller stuff.

I want to sell the motor home. It does not fit my camping style and it looks out of place.

I took this picture for a range report but will use it here. The building you see to the left is an unoccupied log home with the other end opened up for storing farm equipment. It’s for sale along with could be 50 to 100 acres. The school to the right above the targets is also for sale and the separate adjoining 15 acres. I really want the 15 acres.

Currently I can shoot out to 25 yards from this spot and still impact on my own land. If I can buy the 15 acres I can shoot to 100 and buying the 100 acres I could shoot to 400 yards. Maybe 500 if I pushed up a high berm.

Was 38 and sunny in Yelm this morning, house listing went live yesterday and there's 6 showings today already so we're hanging out at the American legion where we had coffee and breakfast.. now swapping stories of winters in Korea and German beer... You should get a lot of money for your place. Where are you moving too? I bought my place in Wisconsin for 18% of what I sold my house for in Woodinville. I can’t believe how overpriced King County is and how underpriced Price County is.

I’m told I shouldn’t have to pay any or a small amount. One reason I want to buy more land.

28 with a heavy frost the last two days. Yesterday we were over in an area called Hayden Idaho just a bit north of Coeur d’alene and had thunder, hard rain, hard hail and wind. Got back to Washington and it was sunny and about 20 degrees warmer. Tomorrow we are expecting a big storm with rain, mountain snow and 60 mph gusts. Good day to stay indoors.

Up for Mass then brunch.
Then our favorite brunch place. Country fried steak, eggs over easy, hash browns, toast and jelly.
I love that place but was astounded a few months back when my bride of more that a quarter century said, "Ill have a Bloody Mary with that.
What!
We never drink in the morning do we? On Sunday!?
So for months I had my coffee while she had her Bloody with a beer chaser. Finally one fine Sunday morning I said, "I'll have one too." Now it's a regular thing.
Anyway, I got home and needed a nappy.
Supposed to rain this afternoon, but who cares.

Right now it's sunny and 79°. I didn't check the temps when I walked the dogs this morning around 7 but I went out in short sleeves. Ate some breakfast and then went to the range. Did well with the Ruger All Weather .223. I had a couple of fliers but all in all was very happy. Going to try and finish the taxes today. Doing the capital gains form is always tortuous.

Mid 40’s and mostly sunny. It might hit 60 next week with nights above freezing. Happy days are here again!

Finally got some rain, despite all the record rainfall and floods in parts of Australia since late Jan/early Feb we have had less than half our average rainfall.
Weather has started to change with it as well, only a top of 55 Saturday, nights are starting to get down to low 40's no frosts yet but wont be long. Day time temps predicted to be mid 60's-70's this week but winter is on the way.
April can be anything for us highs can get to around 90 but depending on the year we can also see overnight temps drop to low 20's.

Okay this isn’t funny anymore. Four inches of drifting snow overnight. The snow has blown against the red garage making a lot of it white. The snow at the bottom is a foot deep

How am I supposed to shoot if I can’t see my targets? At least I’m not trying to shoot black powder.
