Good morning everybody! :D The sun hasn't made an appearance yet, but if the weather reports are anything to go by then we are in for another beautiful Autumn day.

Enjoy your coffee, and have a great day! :D

It's supposed to be a warm one today. It was humid yesterday, hopefully not today.

Good morning all from Jonesboro, Ga. A nice 62 degrees this morning. Coffee is good in my Henry mug. Again, little to no chance of rain today. Getting really dry in this area. Made a "pawn shop" run yesterday......no diamonds in the rough found, but did enjoy talking to some of the guys in the shops. Take care and be safe.

Greetings. 57°in Hardy County WV and overcast right now. It's supposed to be sunny later today. I am hoping to do some plinking today and more fall chores.

Good morning all! Very cool morning here in Southern California. Looks like we may stay in the low 70s today which will be great.

Any updates from those affected by the storm in the Southeast?

the latest projections have Hurricane Matthew hitting Charleston, then turning east back out to sea .... if so, only a small section of NC would be affected .... its still too far out to know for sure

I haven't been able to post much for the last few weeks but I'm getting a breather and will be around for a few weeks. I went to the range yesterday and will be posting about that and catch up on posts I've missed.

The leaves are just now beginning to turn and fall.

Good to see you again, SH, and very glad you're getting a breather now. Those are always needed and most helpful.

Looking forward to your Range Report.

Good morning everybody! :D

It's 42F, dry and cloudy over here today.

I hope that everybody in Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas stays safe and well, and that Matthew doesn't cause too much damage to your homes and properties. :(

this morning's forecast is calling for Matthew to brush NC's southeast coast as it turns back out to see .... we are located about 130 miles northwest of Wilmington and they are calling for heavy rain in our area ....

Good morning all from Jonesboro, Georgia. 63 degrees this morning, cloudy, but not much of a chance of rain. I am concerned for my buddies who live on the Georgia coast. Could be a big deal for them, and I hope they stay safe. Good to have Sir Henry back and posting. Going to head out shortly and spend some time with my mom. Today is my dad's birthday. Lost him 36 years ago, I miss him. Take care and be safe.

Quite a thunderstorm between 12am-1am this morning. The brunt of it was north of KCMO, but we did catch 1.3" of water in the rain gauge. Haven't watched the news yet, but it was predicted to also carry 60-70mph winds. Hope that didn't happen.

Praying for folk in the east and southeast coastal areas. After less than 1.5" of water overnight, cannot even imagine the amount of rain dumped by a hurricane! Sure hope those that choose to can leave early enough and move safely away.
