Found a nice leather Galco holster that I used with my Glock 23 for years and wondered how would it fit the new RIA BBR 45.

So slipped it in and it fits like it was made for it! Made as a left hand ISWB I also clip it inside my pants left rear pocket and it carries great there too.
Easy to draw with a loose shirt hanging over and same way I carry my Springfield XDE. The mag pouch carries the extra 13 round Para mag too.

That is a very good looking carry rig. One ? is the pistol a 1911 type hand gun and it appears to have an extended tang grip safety, do you carry it "cocked and locked" as you would a full sized 1911?

Yes it is a 1911... the Rock Island BBR 3.10 with double stack magazines. When carrying it would be cocked and locked.

It is setup as a right handed pistol of course but I have adapted to it being a left handed shooter. I can hit the slide safety with the side of my left index finger easily while drawing. Learned that from my Ruger 1911 Cmd. More range time coming next week with it to break it in.
