Single digits last night and now it's up to 23 degrees. Light snow falling hit or miss.

Chock full o nuts in the Henry mug today.

New battery going into my Mahindra on loan to the step son. That's the only plan of the day.

Home from Church and brunch. It hit -25 on the way at six thirty this morning.
Damn! That's cold.
Well, we got enough snow that I need to plow. Guess I'll put on some long johns and get to it.
Sounds like more snow tonight.

My plow is a 1983 Ford Bronco with a 351 Clevland engine. I purchased it new and in 1990 when
I bought a new F150 they wouldn't give me much for it, so I put a plow on it and kept it.
The heater works just fine once you get it warmed up.

The only problem is the barn is 200 yards down the driveway and wading through the snow at -10 gets tiring for an old man.
But now I've plowed our half mile drive along with two neighbors and widened the service road. The
folks at the end of it had plowed it open.

I got it all done in about an hour.

The snow banks are getting a little high on the sides however.

A blistering 31° outside right now and up in mid to high fifties this afternoon... nice day for sure, of course... this is the Ozarks to tomorrow the Temps fall off the Table again and be like 10° the next morning... but then warming again by weekend... the ol winter rollercoaster deal... ah well, try and get the net wrap off a few extra bales so on the cold days I can unroll them with the tractor and not have to get out and and unwrap them in the cold...plan ahead and stagger on... coffee up and enjoy the day as best ya can....

24 heading to 33, pretty average for us. Still more fog on tap but we had some really nice sun breaks yesterday. Still a quiet week forecast.

Not much planned for today other than boxing up a shotgun I sold to a local guy. Here in Washington State state law requires us to use an FFL for a private party firearm transfer. So I’m meeting the buyer tomorrow at a shop near downtown Spokane. He also has some 410 ammo he’s trading me for some 22lr so it looks like when we get a break in the weather I can get the Henry out and do a function test.

Cool and rainy today here in the Land of Sugar! It's about 55° and won't change much during the day. Gentle rain most all day long. Just had cereal and coffee this morning.

When I got outside yesterday I realized I needed to plow again. That made three days in a row.
No need to plow today unless it drifts with this wind. Hope not.
I never got to the shop yesterday. I had to work on the water softener and humidifier instead.
I think I'll go to the vets coffee this morning, and then maybe putz in the shop this afternoon.

28 heading to 34 with some freezing fog creating a small “snow” storm. Just enough to make the roads slick and of course today I need to drive to downtown Spokane. Yesterday we had a heavy freezing fog that put a frost on everything. Then just before sunset the fog broke up and the sun came out. For a little bit there it was a winter wonderland.

cold has moved in .... high today will be 20 some degrees colder than yesterday .... rain supposed to move back in on Friday but there is a chance it could end up as some from of ice .... things getting back to normal, meaning, first up this morning is a medical appointment

28 climbing rapidly up to 31 with more grayness out there. Not quite as heavy fog as the last few days. Maybe late this weekend or early next week we may see the return of more unsettled weather with some snow. That should clear out this inversion fog layer we have been suffering with the last several days. Hope so.

Nothing on the calendar today so it looks like I’ll have to create my own activities.

We've been searching for a camp ground opening for our motorhome in the Fort Lauderdale area where Carol
has family. Our search is yielding nothing. Everything is booked up. The southwest is looking better and better.
But, this morning Carol is drinking coffee and still desperately searching for something. The last time we
did Florida five years ago, it was the same thing. Make your reservations a year in advance or go without.

The search continues.
