I really like .410s. That is one fine looking example of one. Thank you for sharing those fine photographs of yours. That is a beautiful firearm.

That IS a good looking .410 Hatch! Hope you can locate some shells for it. Like the way it was green lighted at the store. Excellent!
Yeah that’s a funny story. I had decided to go with the Henry 410 for our grouse hunting and since the season isn’t open until Sept. 15 I was in no hurry to get one. But I was watching the stores and online just to see availability. I showed a picture of it to my wife as she’s my grouse hunting partner. Well after that and unknown to me she had been shopping for one to give me for my birthday next month. She had been looking online and had intended to shop locally for one. When we were at North 40 I showed her the gun and then wandered off looking for silicone spray for boots and wasn’t aware she stayed at the gun counter. I walked back and there she was and as I walked up I heard her say, “we’ll take it”. Then she turned to me and said, “happy birthday”. She told me she was happy to not have to drive all over the area looking for one.

Got my hands on some 2.5” 410 ammo yesterday and did a loading/unloading test. First I loaded five in the mag via the side gate and all cycled great. Then I put the limited tube in it and repeated the test and again all was perfect. I did test the limited tube by trying to load three in it and that didn’t work. So all’s great now I need to brave the cold and do some shooting tests. I’m hearing that the public land place we like to shoot at is accessible for the right vehicle. Deep ruts and an icy hill to drive up/down will require the pickup.

Glad you found what you wanted. I have looked at them for a while and believe it would be a nice addition but have not decided to do it yet.

Not sure I like an aluminum receiver though. ;)

Good find! I guess you won’t be making a road trip to Arizona now. Good luck finding 2 1/2” 410.
Awe shucks, I was looking forward to some warmer temps and some sunshine. :(

Price was $849 which is what I have seen online and in the neighborhood of the Bass Pro shop in Mesa.

GFK, thanks for the link to the snap caps. I’ll pick some up.
I saw one in a store about 40 miles south of me yesterday, first one I've seen in person.
It' was $799.

I do like the look of the nickel receiver shown.

Embarrassed to admit but I still have not fired mine yet. I did find a box of target loads recently to use for function tests. The public state land I was intending to take it to along with my son’s new AR was recently shut down to recreational shooting. There is another place available but it is gated so we have to haul all our gear in which makes it a pain.
