What park do you guys stay in when you come down here? I know you said Aransas Pass just curious whick one. We may move to another one in the future as they are raising prices here. Im in for next year but that may be my last here. They are double the price of some other parks in the area and the other parks are pretty nice also.

We stayed there once. It was nice but I'm not sure there aren't better and cheaper places. We have friends there.

There rates are pretty competitive with that style of RV park down here. The KOA in Corpus is at 115.00 a night in some spots not sure what the monthly rate would be as you need to call them to see about those. We arent far from the water here but the rates here are getting out of hand. Even the lot owners here arent liking what is going on.

It was 55° this morning and now it's 50° with gusty winds. Cooked bacon, eggs, toast and coffee for breakfast. Got a lot of work I'm trying to get out today.

Up early for church and then brunch.
Folgers and some more Christmas Cookies. Carol wouldn't let me eat them before Christmas
because she was afraid she'd run out. Now I'm still eating them weeks later. I think she had plenty.
This afternoon we'll travel to North Minneapolis for our Grandson's eighth birthday. Not too happy
about North Minneapolis. The call it little Mogo Dishue.

trace of snow before daylight .... currently 29 with freezing rain, no sign of any accumulation of ice .... supposed to switch to all rain shortly after noon and continue to rain until sometime around 7PM .... chance of black ice tomorrow morning .... Maureen was worn our after spending 2 days in the hospital while having a pacemaker installed .... shen slept about 3 hours after getting home home from the hospital, then for 9 more hours last night .... this morning she's still a bit droggy .... no real pain but as should be expected, the area around the incision is sore ... no plans to venture out today

29 heading to 34 today with fog. Just another gray day of winter here, come on spring! A quiet week is expected with every day just like today. This is normally a wet month for us and if we don’t get some storms in we’ll be looking at another drought this year. The meteorologists are getting nervous.

Nothing planned for the day, don’t have any football teams left that I care about and Gonzaga basketball was yesterday. Maybe some Hawaiian golf? I will take the pup out for a romp later, the tracks left by the excavator have made a great running path in the snow for him.

Yes Hatch, I WILL take the snow over the ice for sure. The ice is what causes the power outages.
We, so far have 10 inches, but it is supposed to continue all day, off and on with some ice possibly mixing in this afternoon.
JEBar is about 4 hrs to our east. They stay a bit warmer than us, hence, more ice. I know we don't get nearly as much as you folks up there though. This is fairly uncommon around here.

Egg and bacon gobbled. Suppinh on coffee. Going to run look at a used pickup first thing today.. about 80 miles away. Hope it pans out.... been a challenge finding one that's not either wore out or priced completely out of reason. Oh well, tramp on down the trail and see what happens.... have a good day out on your trails today guys.

Supposed to get in the 30s today with overcast.

I have dental implants and today the dentist wants to remove the lower plate and
have it rebuilt to fit better. It's been a year since I've been to see him and he says]
my mouth has changed so it needs to be rebuilt. Problem is, they will keep it
overnight and I'll get it back tomorrow.
Well, I've been here before. Soft foods and soup for a couple of days.
We also have a contractor coming to gut out basement bedroom and rebuild it.
It got wet and has mold issues. It's a spare room that no one uses, but...........

New flooring.

The heavy snow predicted didn't come overnight. Only a few inches.

Coffee in the John Deere mug, by the fireplace watching a light snowfall and the birds at the feeder.

we are 250+/- miles east of Asheville .... it is in the mountains and we are in what is called the Piedmont .... they ended up with a considerable accumulation of snow .... we ended up some ice and a tree down ... first up today was a medical appointment .... breakfast won't come along until lunch but Folgers is flowing
