Another frosty morning in Dacotah, partly cloudy today: currently -3; expected high of 15. Just another day in quarantine hell. Everybody have a great day!

My lawn tractor got quite a workout yesterday and today. Got all my plowing done, only snow related thing I have left is getting the snow off my hay/tractor shed which I will do tomorrow. Very little snow and temps in the mid 20's to mid 30's in the 10 day forecast which suits me fine.

Warmer week coming... get through the rain today and a week of tolerable weather ahead... take what I can get and be glad the snow is fast disappearing... for now at least.. coffee is getting me woke up.... planning on a happy day.... I will have a better idea how that works out this evening...🙂 👍

13º but supposed to climb up to 35º this evening for some freezing rain. Good news here is I am on the southern edge of the snow bands coming off Lake Michigan. I have gotten about 10 inches of snow since Thursday night but 2 miles south in town they only have maybe 3-4. Couple miles north they have 15-20 inches. It depends on the wind direction as to how much snow we get but so far we have been fortunate.

Morning, only 27 here, which is better than the mid teens they were hollaring about.
Should get to the upper 40's this afternoon, with rain moving in around dark.

17 now with a forecast high of 30 and maybe some sun breaks later. Hope so. What a mess, after all the snow and then the rain and now freezing temps it’s a complete ice arena out there. Everywhere I plowed or shoveled is a sheet of ice. The deep snow has a hard crust on it. My poor pup who was loving the snow running and jumping thru it now can barely move thru it. Last night my wife took him outside and had to come in and get me out of bed. He was stuck in a berm and couldn’t get free. This happened because the normal path we take for him is a bit of a slope and a sheet of ice so my wife wisely choose another route. Looks like I will be snow blowing a new route for him and us to take.

Awoke to 58° this morning. It was warmer this morning than when we went to bed last night. Supposed to get up to 78° with rain/thunderstorms this afternoon. Made bacon, French toast and coffee this morning.

Fair 19°F -7°C
Humidity 68%
Wind Speed S 16 G 22 mph
Barometer 29.75 in
Folgers and cereal.
From twenty below yesterday morning to almost twenty above this morning. Quite a swing.
Christmas decorations coming down today. House goes back to normal.
Barometer is falling so more weather is on the way I guess.

About the same here although I don't think we got as much freezing rain. We were getting some strong wind gusts yesterday afternoon and it was blowing chunks of the crusted snow off my roof. Thought they were going to break my truck's windshield before I could get it moved.

My friend's Harbor Freight greenhouse's roof did collapse from the snow load, the walls are still intact so we will probably just build a more substantial roof for it.

Fair -6°F -21°C
Humidity 70%
Wind Speed W 12 mph
Barometer 30.39 in
Folgers and Orios.
We went from 30 yesterday to six below again. Minnesota roller coaster.
Church, brunch, and then this evening it's the youngest daughter's birthday.
We usually take she and her family out to a fancy dinner, (that's what she wants),
so this evening we eat fancy. Gonna cost a lot.
