Hello from IL

Post by TheBackyardRange » Sun Dec 05, 2021 5:20 am

Hello, I’ve lurked from time to time but it would appear that I’ve never posted. Here is the latest pic of what I’ve got. Mind you, they are pretty dirty in this pic. Working on my display cabinet to make room for the 3 newest ones so I took them all down and grabbed this pic.

17HMR, 22LR, 22Mag, 327 Fed Mag, 357Mag, 41Mag, 44Mag, 45 Colt, 30-30.

All are the 20” octagonal barrels

This is the 2020Trump Golden Boy Silver I bought for my boy. He got the rifle for his birthday and getting the case for Christmas.

I am still trying to navigate this site. It’s seems limited in its mobile usability. I’ll get it figured out. On another note… 25 posts huh? I’m could probably do that while taking my nap 😂. I am a member of several gun forums so I won’t surprise me if I run into someone I know here. I have a display cabinet that’s been a work in progress for about a year and a half. I’ll have to post it up here shortly for member input. Hope I can bring some interesting conversation to the floor. Only seemed natural to join a Henry forum as I have more of them than any other brand of rifle.

our site is pretty easy to use once you've messed with it a little while .... we've got a really good group of guys .... no fuss'n or fume'n .... more like a group of friends sitting around a campfire .... Henry sponsors most of our drawings which is really nice .... that's one reason it is important to keep a running total of how many of their rifles our folks have purchased over time .... do feel free to jump into ongoing conversations and to start others of your own

Good to know, that’s what I’m looking for. I prefer the the mellow bunch. I talked with Anthony a while back on some R&D on the 500 S&W, he said they’ve looked at it a couple of times but it’s still a no go. I wish they could have figured it out. I still owe him a video on the Golden Boys / Big Boys. Told him I’d do one as soon as I finished collecting all the ones in this series. Ordered the 45, 327 and 41 this past spring. Those were the hardest to find, the Rona and all. I got the last one (17hmr) a couple weeks ago so that topic of what Henry owners would like to see will be coming up for member input as well. We got a rash of nasty weather right now so I’m not sure how soon it’ll happen.

I load somewhere around 30 different cartridges. I have a fairly large gun collection. I just recently sold off a dozen or so guns to make some room. Only thing I don’t load are shotgun shells.
