Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Rather cold 45° here this morning. Discovered a small leak in a water pipe in the attic. Tried to fix it with a shark bit but that didn't work. I'm headed to Home Depot to get some 1/2 copper pipe and two couplers and just splice it. Just had cereal this morning and a salad for lunch.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Currently 47 this morning. Going to the range today but not sure what I'll take. Thinking about the Ruger M77 HB .280, Marlin .44 mag, or the Marlin Camp 9.

Fair 41°F 5°C

Coffee and cookies.
Up early for church then brunch.
Time to go down to the family gravesite and retrieve our urns before winter breaks them up.
We plan to stop and visit with cousins while down there.
We went to a Memorial Service for a cousins husband yesterday. He died of Covid but had several underlying
health problems. I'm really glad we went. The widow, (my cousin), has a huge extended family, but due to
her sister calling other cousins and frightening them of Covid, we were the only ones present from her side
of the family. We had talked to several of the cousins the day prior and they were coming until the sister did
her thing. His side was well represented in stark contrast to ours. Sad.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
34 and now that’s it’s finally getting light I’m seeing just a light overcast. Had rain most of the day yesterday so some sunshine will be welcome.
No plans for the day other than clock changing (thankfully no VCR
) and reversing the ceiling fans for winter. Of course this means cleaning them too.
My family room has a vaulted ceiling so I have to drag my 8’ step ladder in to do it. This should be interesting with the new pup, he is a curious one and wants to be involved in everything.
Speaking of the pup, should be a good day to take him for a long walk in the trees. He’s a good hiker and does a good job getting over and under obstacles.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
40 going to 55 today with sun.
Keurig coffee.
Step son wants to mow my lawn and his with my John Deere X758. I said sure. It's supposed to be towards the 60's all week. All I can do is sit here and think of all the things I can't do in the nice weather. Oh well.
I hope you enjoy the day.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Just Another Manic Monday Wish it were Sunday as the song goes. Nice to wake up to the partly cloudy sun shine, low as 33: currently 42; expected high of 54. Missus still on the IR so i’ve got all the household chores on my list of things to do. No appointments today, later this week though. Everybody have a great day!

Retirees breakfast today. Cracker Barrel.
Usually bacon, eggs, toast and coffee. Well, have to look at the menu...........
This afternoon I really need to get the leaf blower out and get to work.
Supposed to turn nasty towards the middle of the week.

37 this morning but warming up quickly .... supposed to get up to 69 late today with a 0% chance of rain .... first up was to take our daughter's Suburban to a body shop for repair .... her car was rear ended while sitting at a traffic light .... minor damage to her 'burban, considerable damage to the car that hit her .... as a side note, the other driver has Geico insurance and they have paid the claim with no issues whatsoever ...
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
32 0vernight and only to 52 today. Truck is in the shop and done. New exhaust manifold was installed. Had an exhaust leak at #6 cylinder. The stock manifolds arent very heavy and there one piece. They warp over time with heat. Common problem on the 5.9 I guess. I chose to not fight resealing it several times and replaced it with a 2 piece heavier duty one. The ports are also bigger helping with breathing. Looking forward to trying it out.

28 heading to 47 with partly cloudy skies in the forecast. Right now it’s overcast but it might be upper level fog. Maybe some wet snow tomorrow but if it happens it’s not expected to hang around long. The Cascade Mountains (located up and down the west coast and divides eastern and western Washington) got some heavy snow over the weekend 12+ inches with more expected today.
I’m thinking that the last of the pine needles have dropped so today I’m going to wash the mower and winterize it and put the last garden hose away. Let’r’snow….

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I can relate my daughter was driving back from visiting the missus in the hospital and hit a deer. Over $6000.00 in damages, I lent a vehicle while they get their van fixed.JEBar wrote: ↑Mon Nov 08, 2021 9:49 am37 this morning but warming up quickly .... supposed to get up to 69 late today with a 0% chance of rain .... first up was to take our daughter's Suburban to a body shop for repair .... her car was rear ended while sitting at a traffic light .... minor damage to her 'burban, considerable damage to the car that hit her .... as a side note, the other driver has Geico insurance and they have paid the claim with no issues whatsoever ...
Funny though the deer belong to GF&P until you hit one with a vehicle and then it belongs to you.
