38 now with another day in the 70’s today. Again tomorrow and then the cool down starts with the highs staying in the 50’s. No rain until Sunday so for me it looks to be a nice week. 50’s and dry is great weather to “whittle down the chore list” as Ozark said. Planning on playing golf tomorrow on the last 70 degree day probably for the year.

The chore list that has been whittled down a little bit.

I always wondered what a list looked like Hatchdog! Right now 81° and Sunny. We've got some lower humidity this week so may be time to dust off the Harley and ride! Just too hot in the summer for me anymore. Just cereal, coffee and banana this morning. I've already been to the dermatologist this morning. I'll get to work soon.

Folgers flowing, breakfast will come along later .... about the only significant thing on tap is a local mobile RV repair service is scheduled to get here around 9AM to work on our camper .... for several days the forecast has called for rain this morning, thankfully none is in sight until late today .....

Just me and the dogs here. Bike ride today and shooting tomorrow. When the boss is away the mice can play. 82 here today starting out at 45.

Sweet orange rolls, one of my favorites!

41 with a high of 73 on tap. This may very well be the last 70 degree day of the year. I’m off shortly for a flu shot and then it’s off to the golf course for maybe the last round of the year. Maybe now I can get some range time in. Too many hobbies

I hear you on that Al, this is my fourth stern drive and the first one I won’t do the service myself. Too old and out of shape to hang over and try to find the drain plugs let alone trying to extract the oil. One nice feature of this boat is it has a remote oil filter that sits right on top and is easy to get to. I took the boat to a local mechanic and had it winterized and all the fluids changed. Spendy but my back says thank you. I do still winterize my RV as everything is easy to get to.

Alas, I am fasting for a blood test this morning. Not my favorite thing to do.
Afterward I will probably stop at the McDonalds for a quick breakfast.
Then I have to take the motorhome twenty miles to a shop for some work.
Of course it's Wednesday so tonight it will be beer and wings with friends.😋

41 heading to 58 as this is the beginning of a several day cold front coming thru. Forecast for Thursday night is in the 20’s so “here we go again”.

Had a fun day yesterday at the golf course with temps in the low 70’s and lots of sunshine. Putter was hot but all the other clubs should have been left at home.

This is a pic from my front porch but is the sun setting not rising but the blooming grasses sure look pretty with the sun.

69 on its way to 84 .... slight chance of rain during the late afternoon .... our morning got off to an unexpected start .... a call from our youngest son, who was at work, asked us for help .... his wife's car has a flat tire in their driveway .... she needed to get to work and he couldn't leave .... we immediately dressed and took my wife's Camaro to our daughter-in-law .... still on the agenda for later today is a drive to Raleigh for a medical appointment .... on the way, we have to drop off documentation that we still have a full time residence in NC (which hasn't changed since the late 1970's) .... is is required by the state who maintains the NC insurance rate on our Sportchassis is so low that folks from out of state come in and create false residences so they can get NC citizens' rates .... all I can say is, if our state's rates are so low as to induce folks to from other states to break the law, their state's rates must really be something .. :?

Pampas grass?
It’s Karl Foerster Feather Reed. Grows fast and is really a nice compliment to the yard. We cut it back to just above ground level every year and it grows this tall in a short time. Here is a few days or so when we get a frost it will be really cool looking. Funny you should mention Pampas Grass, my wife was just showing me a picture of it and is thinking about planting some next year. :D
