Ya I was wondering about the one in Aransas Pass. Ive stayed in the Galveston and the one right next to it. Check out Southern Oaks RV park in Aransas Pass its very nice. Marquee on the bay is the other one right next to Galveston Bay.
The Aransas Pass was nice but crowded. It was not near the water but there was a canal behind it where folks fished, although they didn't seem to catch much.
It sounds like this Winter we will be in Florida. Carol has two brothers and a sister living there and she hasn't seen them in years now.

A brief look at fall in Mobile this morning,upper60’s. Had my coffee on the pouch for the first time in months. The nicer and less humid mornings mornings should start late this month. The sooner the better.

58 with what looks to be clear skies here in Payson Utah. Sitting in a Quality Inn which is anything but.
Leaving shortly to pick up our puppy, we’re pretty excited. Then just a short 800 mile drive back home.

Awoke to 73° this morning. Today is sunny but Monday and Tuesday we're going to get a tropical storm in that will dump a lot of rain according to the forecast. Just had cereal and coffee this morning.

Light rain is falling and it seems Fall like.
Church and then Perkins for breakfast.
Sirloin steak and eggs with hash browned potatoes and pancakes on the side.
I suspect the sirloin steak was grass fed as it had very little flavor. I much prefer grain fed.
Lazy day. I would paint if the rain dries up.
Dinner reservations tonight at our favorite Supper Club the Ranchero.

I think Fall is definitely here.
Just a glass of milk this morning. Retirees breakfast in an hour and then our rifle squad
will fire a salute at a charitable golfing event at noon that raises funds for disabled vets.
We do it every year and it raises a lot of money.
Last year we did it in pouring rain.
Weather looks better this year.

52 heading to 76 here in good ole’ Deer Park. Good to be home from Utah.
The weatherman just told me that in Spokane later this week we will see a low of 35. That means frost where I live. Winter’s coming……
Also another local guy who has a weather website I follow says if the models line up this weekend we could be seeing substantial rain that just might put the 2021 fire season to bed. Sure hope so.
After a nice easy short 14 hour drive home yesterday we have out new pup. Drive was so long as we stopped at every rest stop to let the little guy out of the crate and get some running around time. I’m pooped.

I've been a bit under the weather the past few days. No energy and nasal congestion. I usually get Fall allergies and hope that's it. Anyway, rain and more rain for the next couple of days as the tropical depression nears the coast. Eggs, bacon, toast and coffee for breakfast.

Nicholas came ashore as a Cat 1 hurricane. We got about 6" of rain or so. Most of the rain was south and east of us. The eye came close to coming directly over Sugar Land. It was a lopsided storm so we were spared most of the rain. Winds got pretty high but no damage here at home. There's a bunch of small branches down in the yard from the trees and that's about it. We're on the same power grid as a Center Point Energy center so if the power goes out they restore it fairly fast because they want their building powered. The power was off for only a few minutes about 3 a.m. Cereal, banana and coffee for breakfast.

45 heading to the 70’s somewhere. It’s starting to feel like early fall out there. Loving it!
Finally feeling normal after the weekend drive. Yesterday was a bit of a fog. We are enjoying our new pup, he’s a pleasure. Took him to the vet yesterday and he checked out fine other than being on the low end of average for size. He doesn’t seem much interested in eating so we’re giving him a supplement our vet gave us. The breeder did tell us he was the smallest boy in the litter. No problem with energy, he like to romp and play.
