Hey Al how are the barrels finished and/or treated... some of yours looks like there's a bronze hue to them. Really impressive

Some have browned barrels, mine does. This was an experiment with a ladder sight last winter, went back to the original stock primitive buckhorn shortly after. Filed down the front sight and have been doing ok with it.
