Grandsons new Henry
We were finally able to have family up over the forth and I was able to give my grandson the .357 classic. We loaded the first tube with 38's then went to 357's and he never looked back.... he shot it for hours. I haven't had a range session that long since boot camp, but he was shooting it like a boss. When we got home he immediately asked if I'd show him how to clean it, which we did. It was a good match for both of them.

Perfect. Sharing that Henry with your Grandson is very special. Great picture, says it all.
Re: Grandsons new Henry
That is very special and if someone would have done something like that for me at that age I would of been doing the same thing.

That picture speaks volumes. Gives me hope for future generations that I don’t get watching the news.

Re: Grandsons new Henry
My first rifle, real rifle, was a single shot Winchester 22 given to me by my Grandfather. He was a huge influence, John Wayne in my eyes. It was kept at his place in the country, but he always found time for us to shoot when we visited. The gun was lost when their place burned, but I bought one like it for my girls, and passed it to my Granddaughter a couple years ago.
Her grin looked a lot like your Grandson's. Great Job.

You can tell a lot about the character of a man...
by the way he treats those who can do nothing for him.
I don't look back at the things I can no longer do, I just look forward to the things I still can.

Thank's everyone, he is a great young man and I'm very proud of him. The Henry Lever Rifle fits him better than any AR-15 type rifle out there and I'd be willing to bet he already has the specs memorized.
Did I mention grandpa needs a new Henry Hat and Henry Rifle Case? He left here in style that's for sure

Re: Grandsons new Henry
Good looking young man BI, you hit a home run with the Henry, stand by for range time every time he comes and visits.
I stand for the flag, and kneel for my fallen brothers.
