Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
MHH here today. Have a outdoor faucet that has a leak. Nobody carries rubber washers for those chinese faucets that Home Dump carries. Of course, there is no such thing as a USA faucet to be had. So I got another HD faucet.
Morning was 78* and not pleasant. Glad I had a pot of Silk to keep me on track. Hope your day is better.

Yippee... calves sold ...green backs stuffed in bank for later needs.... over the summer work hump. Feels like it did when I was a kid at the start of summer vacation....

Hope the rest of you have a great day....

Folgers and you know what.
Taking my Explorer to the dealer this morning to get some work done.
Doctors appointment the afternoon to deal with a sinus infection.

Woke up to 75 out and 77 in. Today starts the cool down with a forecast high of 107 and dropping a few degrees every day from here on out. We’re looking at mid 90’s next week and it’s just wrong in so many ways to look forward to that.
Today we are taking a road trip about 90 miles north to check out a campground John Davies recommend here on this site a few months ago. Having never been there before and considering how close to home it is we figured that’s a good excuse to take a road trip including breakfast somewhere.
Nice to see that Sir Henry’s temps have cooled off somewhat. Hopefully that cooler weather will head our way soon.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
83° and partly sunny. I got up and at 'em today. Got the Harley inspected so I can get the tag renewed. Now I'm waiting for the wife's Burgman battery to charge so I can ride it down. She doesn't ride but once or twice a year. I've encouraged her to just sell it but every time she claims she'll start riding more often. The last time it was ridden was probably when it got inspected last. Coffee, eggs, bacon, and toast for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
When I met Carol 27 years ago she had a motorcycle. Yep, she had the leathers, helmet and all the stuff.
She had determined to learn to ride it in her 40s and told me she kept tipping over. Well she got her
license and wanted me to ride on the seat behind her. NOT COOL! No way in hell.
Well, we got married and she moved out in the country to my place and no longer rode her bike. I asked
why and she said she liked to ride in the city because she didn't have to go very fast, but the country roads
scared her. We finally sold the bike to a friend.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
75 heading to 96…..yea, no triple digits.
Have a DR appt at 8:00 then a bunch of running around to do as long as I’m in Spokane. Then home to drag hoses and try to get some water on the grass. Gone all day yesterday so didn’t do any watering.
Got home to find a bigger fawn bedded down on the cool lawn in the backyard. It hung around for a couple of hours and then wandered off. There was a dead doe on the main road just outside my community, hope it’s not the mom. Pretty big fawn so I expect that if it hooks up with another doe and fawn it probably will survive.

Currently 84° and sunny. Only a 30% chance of rain today. Got quite a bit of rain yesterday's afternoon thunderstorms. Cereal with blueberries and coffee this morning.
