Ken Griffey Jr was inducted today as a Seattle Mariner.

I'm sure you liked seeing the S on his plaque.

Any Mets fan here? Piazza went in today too.

It was a big deal here in Seattle. We have baseball in Seattle because of Griffey.

No...It's my cousin. He's a Baseball fanatic with Giants tatoo's and season tickets.

I was to Cooperstown New York to the Hall Of Fame many years ago. It is really a wonderful experience and the town itself is a beautiful, quaint town. Doubleday Field is right there also and really is a nostalgic old ballpark. When we were there there was a separate museum that a man opened exclusively for Pete Rose since he has never, and may never be, inducted into the Hall Of Fame. I don't know if it is still there or not. The day we were there Enos Slaughter was signing autographs and my son got one from him. Enos passed away sometime around 2002. But for any fan of the game it is very worthwhile. I used to live about 3 hours away but now I am about 5 1/2 hours away.

I'm glad I went.....if you're a Basball fan you should check it off your bucket list for sure.

in the FYI category .... for those who may be interested and who happen to be in the area around Lake Nordan, South Dakota .... South Dakota Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame ===> http://sdbaseballhalloffame.com/ <=== it is located about 20 miles from where we spend our summers .... it is small and I seriously doubt very many visitors will bothered by large crowds ....

Sometimes AAA, AA and even A ball can be just as exciting and the majors. In the early 60's I watched the Lewiston, ID Broncos. I later learned Reggie Jackson was playing for them at the time.

I agree, I have watched a lot of AAA and AA ball with the Phillies farm teams through the years, and now I am only a half hour from the Hagerstown Suns, a A team of the Washington Nationals and for the price of admission and the price of food and the talent that you see, you can't beat it for great family entertainment if you like baseball.
