Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was about a dozen old vets drinking coffee around a round table and chatting about old times.
There were doughnuts.
And not a one was wearing a mask!
I heard stories that I'll bet their families have never heard.
I thoroughly enjoyed it. Think I'll go again next week.

It's 28 this morning and the wind has finally gone down. Bright sun with a high near 50.
Black Silk this morning with Braunschwager on Ritz crackers. Candida.
Got a Doc appointment at 11:00. Lots of leg and knee pain. This is getting serious.

another cool but beautiful morning just north of Willis, TX .... calling for 69 later today with a 1% chance of rain, supposed to drop to 38 tonight ... regular sausage, egg and Folger's breakfast .... watching "The Adventures of Robin Hood" that was made in 1938 staring Errol Flynn and Olivia De Havilland
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good luck Coop I hope he can provide some relief for you. 51 here this am and headed to the mid sixtys. Time to wash up the RV today and get some of the Gulf off the roof and other areas. Truck needs a bath to but one at a time. Besides there is always tomorrow. And if that doesnt come then the next guy can wash it.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
24 heading to the 50’s. I’m liking that!
Planning a trip to the range today to take first shots with my 41 mag Henry. Also have to zero a few other rifles including my 357 that I did load work for a few weeks ago. Couple of 22’s just in case we get frisky and head out to do some varmint control on our place up north. Be a few months before we can do that, there’s probably many inches of snow there still.
Folgers is tasting good and my stomach is starting to suggest that I should consider some breakfast soon.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Good Luck with your Dr. Sounds like you had a breakfast of champions. Hard to go wrong with Black Silk and goose liver sausage. My favorites. When I pull out the Braunschwieger roll, the wife just gets up and says "EEWWW"!! Gives me time to eat and drink in peace.
We started out @ 38* this AM and we are at 68* now. Beautiful sunny day. Wife worked out in yard building trellises for pole beans and whatever cold plants she decides.

The Doc visit did not go well. When I got there it turned out their computer scheduling program had malfunctioned and I had no appointment after driving 23 miles. I got home and there was a PM from his nurse wanting to work things out, but their program would not allow me to answer her PM, and the phone number she gave me was to an operator, who after waiting a long time for her to answer, said the nurse was too busy to talk.
I need to find a new Doc that is closer.

I agree with your wife “EEWWW”. My son that lives in Denmark sent me couple of cans of pate, told me to put it on toast. Tasted it and all I can say is “EEWWW”.MuddyWaters62 wrote: ↑Wed Mar 03, 2021 4:45 pmGood Luck with your Dr. Sounds like you had a breakfast of champions.
