Got the results of a biopsy on my left arm, taken about a week & half ago. They say it came back cancerous, and will remove
it next Wed. Mar 3, at 10:30 am.
It'll be done in the office.
Can't hardly wait. Nothing I like better than having holes dug in me, LOL.

Hope procedure is quick and effective.

Yeah, an itchy inconvenience for a couple weeks. But, ya do what you gotta do. I’ve had a few, don’t even notice them now. Be well.

Kinda like Cofisher said, just an inconvenience. Another chance to look at all those great looking nurses & doctors. Place is full of 'em.

It's an annoyance and a scary one, for sure, Grunt. But, it's a cancer that can be removed and that's really very good news. Like the others, I wish you the best outcome, too.

thoughts and prayers .... soldier on, get it done
Re: Had better news, had worse.
Oh, it'll be fine. I'm not worried about it. They're gonna cut it out, burn it, blast it, or whatever they do, stitch it back up, back in the game. Probably be sore a day or so. It's on the left, so the 45/70 won't abuse it, LOL.

Been there on a few occasions myself. Those scars are just marks of living, kinda like patina on an old rifle.

Re: Had better news, had worse.
I had one surgically removed from my cheek and several frozen out. Doc likes his freeze gun.
A little bit disconcerting, but I got over it quickly.
Just get it done.

We know you will just look to the right and “grunt”. Then back to the 45/70 making noise. Best to you!!
Re: Had better news, had worse.
Had some cancer on my face. Had a five hour surgery done removing it. They did Mohs surgery. That's where they test everything cut out until it comes back negative. You are awake the whole time. All the stuff on my arms they just burn off or cut out. Good luck. It should be a walk in the park for you.

Re: Had better news, had worse.
I've had a number done. One was a melanoma. That one scared me, but turned out fine.
For those of you who don't see one regularly:
GO GET CHECKED OUT BY A DERMATOLOGIST!
I almost waited too late. Ironically it was a spot that wasn't an issue that caused me to ask for a dermatology consult. He found the melanoma during the exam. The dermatologist didn't really think it was the rare form of melanoma that it was, but decided to biopsy it just in case it was. No way my GP would have caught it. It didn't have the earmarks they tell you to look for.

Re: Had better news, had worse.
Had the surgery on my arm this arm to remove the cancer. They have to send it off to see if they got it all. Can't use my left arm much, 5 lb. limit, so it won't pull the stitches loose. Seemed like a bunch, she was sewing like it was making a shirt, LOL.
So, looks like I'm going to be on light duty for quite a while.
Very pretty young nurse, pretty Dr., blonde, ( married ). She said her husband is an orthopedic surgeon. Hers is in skin, so they call themselves, skin & bones. Thought that was hilarious.
Back in 2 weeks for checkup.
Another fun day at the zoo,
