66 here and foggy supposed to hit 72 today. Grocery store trip on the to do list. I think some eggs and toast will fill the breakfast plate. Dont wanna eat to high on the hog and make Grunt feel bad.

a foggy 67 degrees north of Houston in our part of Texas .... supposed to get up to 73 .... no chance of rain today but its supposed to move in overnight .... breakfast has come and gone .... watching the 1944 movie "Marine Raiders" staring Pat O'Brien and Robert Ryan

24 with a 18* degree windchill up here on the Tx border above Dallas. Made sure the bird feeders was well stocked. Folgers is perking and breakfast well on the way. Old peoples sausage and eggs. Thanks to JEB on recomendation of the sausage.
Gonna stay indoors and wet tumble some odd lots of brass. Got the notification to get our Covid vax first shots for Thursday afternoon. Our youngest Granddaughter has had 2 positive cases of Covid so far this season along with walking pneumonia. She turned 14 last December.

18 heading to 28 with some sun and clouds in the forecast. Our big chill hits Wednesday into Thursday but not to the extreme that the upper Midwest is experiencing. Thank you! Getting low on firewood, I have several cords that are drying out and will be split this spring but my dry supply is low.

I believe we are heading into Spokane today for a grocery run at a store we like better than the local market. The local store is fine but the meat counter at the Spokane store is much better.

Made myself some French toast yesterday and made extra. Left over French toast you say.......you bet. Just don’t heat it in the microwave as it will be soggy. Simply put it into the toaster and it will come out nice and crisp and tasty!

I awoke to 63°. Right now it's 67° and headed to about 73°. Contractor showed up today and announce they were doing flooring today. This guy moves fast (good) but doesn't have much communication about what's happening next. I've gotten pretty good about moving furniture back/forth. I did get a bit pissed this morning though. I think he understood without me saying anything. Cereal, coffee, and humongous portion of self control.

44 here, cloudy, supposed to make mid 50s. Wanted to do some shooting today, but looks kinda iffy. Possible some freezing rain late on thru Thurs. Mostly in So. KY, may not come down this far.
I'll be glad when Feb. finds another place to hang out.

-30 again tonight, wind chill -50. Spend most of my time this week checking pipes, heaters, heat tape, water connections. Pouring the hay to the horses like there's no tomorrow. Keeping the wood box full and stove going. It's a lot like 1800 around here every February.

Mildest summer I can remember in a long while for SE Aus. Can count the number of days over 100 on one hand, most days maximum temp has
been from mid 70's to low 90's. Plenty of rain as well, we had over 5" last Friday night in around 12 hours, over 10" since Jan 26th

10º going to 19º. Coffee and toast. Waiting for new pulleys for the snow thrower on the tractor to arrive. Will have to get the walk behind running as have been getting some snow every day this week and have to catch up. Feel fine, no symptoms of covid thank you despite the contact. Got an email from the county for vaccine yesterday and opened it 2 hours after it was sent but was filled already. Hope you all are well.

Wet here fog overnight. 68 right now headed to 70 this afternoon under partly cloudy skies

16 heading to the 20’s. I’m seeing what looks to be clear skies as it gets light out. The big chill comes in tonight but is only expected to last for a couple of days. Here at my place I expect to see lower single digits or maybe just below zero. Nice that it will leave quickly.

Watching the local weather report I see the areas of RR, Coop, brm4450, NCG and others shown as a deep dark purple and black reflecting the frigid temps there. My place is barely on the western edge of that ugly looking map. Fortunately the Rocky Mountains keeps most of it to the east. Some will leak down through the Bitterroot Mountains thru what is called the Purchell Trench. Only happens when we get a NE wind out of Alberta. Brrrrrrrrrrr

Nothing planned for the day so will I just take it hour by hour. Coffee and fire in the stove are keeping me warm and happy.

Wait a minute there JE, that's a pretty good movie if I remember correctly, but NOT a cowboy movie.

over time I've been through so many changes that most of the time I don't really know who I am .... I enjoy a narrow range of movies .... mostly older westerns but not back to the B Westerns .... I also enjoy classic war movies .... in my book, Kirk Douglas was a fine actor
