16 this morning with light snow. Supposed to hit the upper 30s tomorrow, but don't get used to it.
Back in the deep freeze on Thursday.
This is historically the coldest part of the Winter here. The next two weeks will be rough but then in Feb
it usually warms up.
Coffee and cookies this morning, but the Candida paid me another visit last night. Not sure just what to do now.
For those who don't know what that is, it's an intense burning or hot feeling in my lower legs at night. No swelling
or inflammation, just burning. Its cause is a yeast infection in the blood stream. It feeds on sugar and carbs we consume.
The cure, stop eating all carbs and sugar for a period of time. Usually about a week.
I thought I had it beat, but not quite I guess.
Funny thing is my regular MD didn't know anything about the condition.

Rain in the parched Sonoran desert; much needed, but it messes up my morning hike.

We're not too far apart Larry, so about the same here. No wind IS unusual these days given the way it's been up to now.

Yep! First morning I've looked at my wind gauge & it's sitting still. Probably won't last tho............

The wind here did pick up a bit, but not enough to keep me from changing oil & filter in the truck. Another monkey off my back.

Woke up to snow showers this morning. The backyard temperature is 31°, but it should rise into the upper thirties by afternoon. CT skies will remain cloudy. Still working on my first cup of tea.

we awoke this morning to 55 degrees under a solid gray cloud cover on its way to 67 .... per the radar, a large area of heavy rain is moving across the state .... they are calling for rain to develop here later this evening and for it to hang around through tomorrow .... we have a guest coming for breakfast this morning so it will be delayed for another hour or so

23 heading to 34 with maybe some sun this afternoon. So far these suggestions of sun have been mostly just that, a suggestion.

Meeting a guy at noon to get some Lee Auto-Prime shell holders but other than that I don’t have a clue what will occupy my time.

Got up early to watch the local news since my normal 6 am watching time will be preempted by well, you know what.

Started off at 58° this morning at 7:00 a.m. and headed for about 74°. Got my eye injections today (finally). Hopefully that will get my vision back in my right eye a bit better.

It's a chilly 17° in the backyard this morning. The sun is rising over blue CT skies. We're expecting it will warm up into the upper thirties, but with a bit of cloud cover and a wind chill later on.

37° and wet snow. 1st cup of joe is down, and looking forward to another. Sausage is sizzling in the skillet. Ahhhh love me a good breakfast. To me the most important meal. I wish I could say I have some cool projects lined up for the day, but sadly no. Still have lots of little things to do setting up the new house. I'm not sure it will ever end. Anyway hope ya'll have a good day. Cheers.

57 here on the shores of the Gulf. Headed to 64 today. Raining lightly right now supposed to do that off and on today.

27 heading up to mid 30’s with some sun possible. Hope so.

I just dropped my wife off at the dentist for a four hour visit. (Sure hope it’s not like Gilligan’s four hour cruise )

I plan to spend my morning reloading a bunch of 357 then going back to pick her up. She is using conscious sedation so can’t drive herself.

Stopped by the local Mickie McDee’s for a breakfast sandwich so I’m enjoying that as I read these fun pages. We have a much better local restaurant called Zips that has a breakfast sandwich that makes MacDonalds look like a hockey puck but unfortunately they weren’t open yet and I didn’t want to wait 15 minutes for them to do so.

we awoke to 61 degrees, a gray sky with a 98% humidity .... they are calling for it to reach 70 today .... rain that neither of us heard, must have moved through overnight ..... more is on tap for later today and into tomorrow morning .... at some point we may ride over and take a look at our next scheduled campground .... breakfast included sausage, gravy, biscuits, eggs, sliced tomato and Folgers .... watching Audie Murphy in Ride Clear of Diablo

Same here as it was 61° when I took dogs out to walk this morning early. Made eggs, bacon, sausage, toast and coffee. Got a bit of work to do today.
