Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Sunshine will dominate CT skies today with temperatures rising into the low forties. It's currently 22° in the backyard. Sausage, eggs, and tea for breakfast again today.
Enjoy your day. Be careful out there.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
My wife and I joke about moving to South Dakota, (really like the political climate there) but I keep telling her that if she thinks winters are hard here in eastern Washington State just give SD a try. Then you post this....
44 now heading to a high of 44. That’s crazy. High winds but the worst of it is supposed to stay to the south of us. THANK YOU! Still looking at gusts to 40 ish but not the 55-65 forecast for other locations. South of me is open rolling farm country with very little to stop the wind. My area is more mountainous and treed which breaks up the wind somewhat.
Where our local range is located it’s supposed to be 50 and sunny. Would love to go there today with that forecast but it will be too windy to do my load work up that I need to do. Tomorrow the high is 38 with sun so I’ll wait a day. Winds are supposed to calm down later today.
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Ranchroper gives free lessons shooting in the wind then you will be set for the move to Dacotah. Beautiful morning here no wind 45 headed to 60. Wife just got up so its time for some coffeeeeee.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
No coffee yet, or anything else. I'm now on a low carb diet due to a condition I have.
I can have coffee but any cookies of other carbs are off limits for a while.
Boring!
Well, we have some provolone wrapped with ham, peperoni, and prosciutto.
I guess I'll have three of these and pretend they're cookies.

another cool but beautiful morning with Carolina Blue Sky .... 39 on its way to 60 with a 3% chance of rain ..
.. brief shopping trip on tap .... this morning's breakfast featured a first for me .... that being leftover Baby Back Ribs on the menu .... 3 ribs, 3 eggs and they sure worked well together ..

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I'm making do. With the cheese wraps I also had some spiced pecans and almonds.
Still not cookies though.
Carol made a seafood boil Friday night, but since I can't have potatoes right now I suggested she substitute Brokley and Cauliflower.
Guess what, they took on the crab boil seasoning and were pretty darn good. Not going to replace potatoes in the long run though.
The good thing is I can have all the meat I want. Just not sweet BBQ.

35° this morning. It's supposed to get up to almost 60 but I don't think it will make it. Made eggs, bacon, toast and coffee this morning. Below the real me.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
The rain has finally stopped. We received about 4.25” of rain in 72 hours. That is on top of 5 plus inches we received from January 1st. I dumped the gauge once already. It was full to the brim and pouring over the side during a hard rain in the middle of the night. We have easily received 10” since the start of the year.
Some of you might remember my old gauge. Kermit died of complications associated with Covid19.
