What's for supper?
What's for supper?
I cooked supper today or a change. Mashed potatoes, white beans, Cole slaw, fried country ham, bread, diet Coke. Man, that hit the spot.

I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

I usually get a tray of sushi on grocery night. Soy sauce and the hotter the better Wasabi. I like the rice with just a slice of salmon or tuna, no veggies. Would love to try some made by a real sushi master, I've heard the apprentices spend their first few years just learning how to make the rice.
I'll pass on Fugu but would like to try some really good Wagyu at least once, maybe some American Wagyu, according to the menu in the video a 10 oz Japanese Wagyu steak can be $250.

Cut up top sirloin with cut up potatoes mixed with gravy in a crock pot. Biscuits on the side. Not much appetite left after watching the train wreck of the Seattle Seahawks. Oh well, football is now dead to me for the rest of the year. Dinner was great.

Yes , it is an art, and you are right about the rice. My wife when with her late husband, ( Air Force ) lived in Japan for 9 years.
She learned a lot from one of their good friends! ( A Sushi Master ).
I/We, have been enjoying it for at least 40 years. Almost once a week we order from an excellent restaurant in town.
