Thick clouds are blocking the sunshine in CT this morning. Temperatures are currently in the upper 20s and will rise into the upper thirties by late afternoon. Rain is expected by sunset, followed by wet snow. An inch may accumulate in my neighborhood before it clears out very early Monday morning.

No plans today other than some household chores. One cup of tea is down. I'll be making a second cup and my usual breakfast... one egg sunny side up and a single sausage patty.

Enjoy your Sunday.

35 heading to 41 with sunshine forecast for this afternoon. One can only hope, haven’t seen the sun in several days.

Coffee now but my coffee mug isn’t as well armed as Vaquero‘ s mug is.

Heading into Spokane today to meet up with my son. He has two Savage 99’s in 300 and we may be working out a trade on one of them. Lucky kid, one given to him by his Grandfather on his Mothers side and the other by his Father In Law.

Hey, the weather-guessers got it right!

Sunny and 43° while walking the dogs at around 7 this morning. Just had a bowl of cereal, toast, and coffee this morning. Waste water is backing up in the back yard and can't get a plumber on the weekend to come out. I'm not resorting to calling one of the high dollar companies like ARS or John Moore. I guess it will have to wait until tomorrow. No fun not being able to run water.

Anither fine day ahead is the plan.... brother is down for alternative deer season.. hecwent out a couple hours yesterday and saw three but not quite in pistol range, but he did find a nice newly dropped antler shed off an eight point. He was satisfied with his stroll. Maybe better luck getting a shot today.....
Coffee is good.... weather not bad....we are still upright and in the game , so no real complaints..... best of luck today to all you guys out there..

Monday morning in CT and the weather forecast promises us a pleasant day starting at 32° and moving up into the mid-forties with plenty of sunshine. I just finished breakfast and plan to spend another day in Covid isolation.

Enjoy your day. Be careful out there.

I wish. No. It's New London Harbor captured by EarthCam.com. About a 1/2 hour drive from my house.
EarthCam and the New London Maritime Society (https://www.nlmaritimesociety.org/) have teamed up to deliver a live streaming look at the harbor in this beautiful town. From atop the Custom House Maritime Museum, see harbor landmarks including lighthouses and a submarine factory, and watch special waterfront events and festivals.

Not to bad 49° this morning. Don't really know what it will warm up to. Still waiting for the plumber. Cooked eggs, bacon, English muffin and coffee for breakfast.

What a difference 12 months makes, yesterday was the annaversery of us getting smashed by bushfires at the farm.
Last year it was 108, 60mph winds and humidity around 10%, yesterday was low to mid 70's calm and raining.
Actually just woke up from the best sleep I have probably had in 12 months. Enjoying a late coffee 70 degree weather and gentle sunshine. Last year I had been awake for over 30 hrs wouldn't get a sleep for 30 more and was battling to stay hydrated.
Last year had about 5 acres of feed left that was knee high to a grass hopper, this year 350 acres that is in many paces over the backs of cattle.

It was 57 when we got up this am and made it to 70. It was a great day and ended up with Margaritas on the beach. Life is good
