Overcast and 64° this morning around 6 a.m. Cereal and coffee for breakfast. Got a bit of work to do on an old Martin sax. The client is a cheap ass and I usually spend more time trying to make it right without using a lot of new pads. One of these days I'll more than likely fire him . I've actually fired three customers in the years I've been doing this and don't regret it a bit.

Easy Saturday today. Eggs sausage and grits and a Henry mug of coffee done and later changing the oil on wife's vehicle. High in 60's today!
Big evening plan was to watch the rival Va. Tech/ UVa game on the tube. ALWAYS had been on a local station with ESPN help but not this year.
Greedy ACC puts it on their network where most fans can't or don't want to pay for another network just to watch college football.

Think next year just SEC ball for me to watch! Big slap in face to all Va. college football fans!

We're having work done on daughter in laws vehicle and will take it back today.

Also she needs a printer for her work at home so Carol is giving her an extra one from her business.
Also taking my old computer to my Grandson for his school at home work.
He'll be thrilled as he's used it for years playing video games whenever they came down.
Still a pretty good unit. HP Pavilion All In One. Only eight years old.
The computer I mean, he's sixteen.

27 heading to 30 with a dry day expected. Yesterday’s snow was only a skiff but was the perfect temperature to make the roads slick. Stayed home all day but made a trip to our little town three miles up the road. The road was a sheet of ice, surprised me. 1-2 inches of snow forecasted for tomorrow with some more substantial storms predicted for this coming week.

Yesterday I was a double loser. Mrs. hatchdog remembered we had planned on cleaning/reorganizing the basement so we did. My extension rings arrived and while they moved my scope back from where the front bell was hitting the ring the dam bottom of the bell hit the mount for a net gain of about an eighth inch. They are medium height but look more like low rings to me. Back to the drawing board.

Gonna split some kindling this morning and watch the Washington State Cougars play football at 1:00. Go Cougs..

Rain all day. Going to try to hang the last kayak today as I got distracted last week with new tool boxes. Need to finish at least one project before I get distracted again. I have 2 analog tvs I need to get rid of. I heard Best Buy will take them for recycle for a fee. Any other ideas?

Our county has a recycle center but you have to pay a small fee to recycle electronics.
Just came back for our favorite BBQ to get take out. It's about five miles away from home.
Just East of it Amazon is building a Fullfillment Center. Ten acres under roof.
Fedex next door is tripling their size I suppose to meet their needs.
Still, we live out in the sticks but they are just five miles away.

Had planned a trip to the range today with the BP rifle but after going to town this morning with the wife and running some errands, ran out of time. Afternoon daylight disappears quick this time of year. 18F today, looks like around 12F tomorrow.

Alberta goes into lockdown tomorrow for 4 weeks so we had breakfast at our local restaurant...Cowboy Channel carries the 2020 National Finals Rodeo for 10 nights starting Monday, they just wrapped it up live today in Texas. Watched some of the tailgate party coverage, looks like they had a big crowd. Great to see. BBQ's in the Forth Worth stockyards, live entertainment...watched a bunch of the pre-shows and post shows, but the live rodeo was not carried by the CC in Canada for some reason. At least get to see it this week....they have had it in Vegas for many years but with the flu stuff the city of Vegas would not let them have spectators so the PRCA pulled it out and put it up for bid to other cities. Was held in big outdoor stadium in Arlington TX.

Cold front moving in causing thunderstorms this morning. It was about 60° earlier when I walked the dogs. Breakfast was bacon, eggs, toast, a couple of tamales, and coffee.

Today is going to be a beautiful, sunny, and warm day in CT with no wind and temps approaching 60.

I plan to spend some time riding my e-bike around the neighborhood. I'll likely not get another chance for quite awhile. I've got 26 miles on it and, so far, I'm really happy that I bought it. My only regret is that I bought it in October and for Black Friday (and a week before and after) it was on sale for $400 less than I paid. Oh, well. If I had waited, today might have been the only day I'd have a chance to ride it until spring, anyway.

I just checked the oil, gassed up and started my snowblower, then sprayed the chute and blades with Rain-X. Wednesday and Thursday's weather will feature a Nor'easter projected to drop a foot or more of snow on my driveway. I hate snow.

Church was cold this AM. Not heating much due to covid. Probably 45 in there.
Eggs, fried potatoes, toast , and smoked salmon for breakfast after church.
