H010 fix

Hi there. I'm curious how long you've had your H010B? Specifically if it's and older gen1 built before Jan 2017? The older ones had mag tube issues. And yes agree with you Henry will make it right!

I have a similar problem with my H010B. The recoil forces the pin on the magazine tube under the pin retainer after shooting 4 rounds of LeveRevolution 45-70. See pic. The gun was assembled in Bayonne, NJ and is on its way back there. I have confidence in Henry to resolve the issue. No issue in shipping in NC. Will let you know how I make out.

Received my rifle back from Henry today. It looks fantastic. They replaced the barrel, mag tube, sights, and the lever. Can't wait to shoot it. They definitely took care of me. Very happy with them.

Well I know this thread is old but I have an update on this rifle. Finally got a chance to shoot it, and it won't chamber factory ammo. My reloads with Starline brass will chamber with firm pressure on lever, but Winchester 300gr hollow points won't even let me close the lever. Measured the rim diameters...Starline is .600 and Winchester is .607 diameter. You can see where the rim is getting chewed up trying to enter the chamber.

Well I know this thread is old but I have an update on this rifle....Gonna have to ship back again.

That's the bad news and it's tough to have to go through it again, but it will be made right. Several years ago, after I returned my H006M a second time, HRA replaced the rifle with one that has been flawless. Whatever it takes, they will step up. Keep us posted.

I would also send those pictures along with your return. I had a 357 that made 2 trips back also. But the second time it was fixed right.

Henry will fix it right up. I bought a H010, and it was shooting 1' to the left at 25 yards. I had already redid the stock to a 12.5" LOP and wrapped the lever with leather. Asked that they made sure the stock was replaced to the new rifle if the rifle had to be replaced. They did replace the rifle and when I goot the new rifle that they sent directly to my house. They had also replaced the stock and lever to the new rifle with the one that I had worked on. Can't get any better than that. New Rifle is perfect now.
