Woke up this morning to 31* with frost on the ground and on the vehicles. It is supposed to get up to a high of maybe 55* today.

17 heading all the way up to 34....we got our inch of snow yesterday, just enough to make driving tricky. My only trip out yesterday was three miles up to the small town to browse my LGS inventory. We are supposed to have several dry days ahead with the highs in the mid 30’s and lows in the upper teens to lower 20’s.

A little bit of time in the reloading room this morning and then into Spokane for a gun deal.

18 degrees heading for a sunshiny high of 35 today.

Coming home yesterday afternoon I drove into our drive in the woods and saw a pure
white squirrel. 12 miles away in town they have black and white variations of the gray squirrel,
but this looked smaller, red squirrel sized. I suspect a pure albino.
It was striking it was so white. Got a snippet of it on my dash cam.

42 on its way to 48 later today ... from that point, it will drop slowly but steadily to an overnight low of 27 .... thankfully, no precipitation is called for .... our few plans for today include a grocery/meds run to Walmart .... on the home front, will spend some time getting our camper ready for subfreezing temps

Windy here and cold supposed to be that way today and tomorrow.43 right now wind chill about 10. Im thinking it will be colder as the day goes on.

Summer has officially started for us down under.
Weather is all over the place, high 90's over the weekend, mid 70's most of this week and then a few days down into the 60's with overnight dipping below 40.
Hoping the rain stays away for a few more days so I can finish haymaking, been a great year for rain well over 50" and more than 150 wet days.

Looks like we are 180 deg. apart weather wise. Winter seems to have arrived here. Had our first glimpse of snow yesterday.
Temp. 40 today.
What do you do with the hay down there, square bales, round? Most farmers have gone to round bales here. Rarely see any square anymore.

Round, a lot of hay down here now is large squares 3x3x8 3x4x8 or 4x4x8, the large squares transport a lot better than the rounds, less wasted space on trucks and in sheds.

17° at Lakeview campground in Piney Flats, TN. 1st cup of Joe down, and waiting on breakfast. I took a rather nasty fall in the yard yesterday while moving our household goods, and broke 2 ribs. Dang , now I know how much it hurts. We close on the selling of our house today, and close on our new house tomorrow. What a month. Cheers

take care of those ribs, they ain't gonna feel better for a while .... a heavy overnight frost left has made the grass crunch as you walk on it .... any delicate plants left out last night aren't likely to survive .... currently 31 on its way to 52 later today before dropping back to 26 overnight .... once again, no chance of rain .... egg and cheese omelet with home smoked sausage and Folgers

Sorry to hear about your fall and the broken ribs. Just getting over three broken ones myself. Hurts like heck!!!
There is never a good time for that injury but especially for you right now. Someone else, ( maybe your son ) will have to do the moving.
Broke mine just before Labor Day weekend and they still hurt a bit. Could not have survived without the pain meds.
Hope your recovery goes faster than mine did. Don't push yourself Tom!!
