55 overnight, up to 57, on its way to 67, dense fog, 97% humidity, no desire to get out and about for a while .... sipping coffee, watching the news

2.6 inches during the night. Still raining. I got wet checking cows... three wet days ahead...guess the dry spell be over... coffee up and stay to the high ground...

18 heading to 36 with warmer temps in the near future. Supposed to be a sunny day, I’m liking that.

Coffee and home made banana bread with butter this morning.
17 degrees and clear today. Windy which should usher in some warmer weather later in the week.

Another victory with my implants and plates. Four months in and today I finished off a Pierson's Salted Nut Roll.
Might not sound like much to you guys, but to me it's monumental! Prior to my surgery I could no longer eat them
as the peanuts lodged between my teeth, painfully. I am happy to report that I am doing better than I was five months ago.
Sunday evening I even ate a T-Bone steak.

It's as if I was given my life back at eighty.

55 degrees with 100% humidity where we are camped in coastal VA .... they are calling for it to get up to 70 later today, thankfully with a very small chance of rain .... it is still very wet with large puddles left from yesterday's deluge .... bacon, eggs, sliced tomato are gone, Folgers is still flowing

understood .... with the forecast calling for a 90% rain on Thursday without any moisture from Zeta, we plan to head home tomorrow .... we hate to head back home but with all things considered, its time to do so

It warmed up here and I’m thinking of taking the coffee pot back outside. Coffee tastes much better on a cold morning.

62 where we are camped in coastal VA this morning .... all indications are today's return drive home should be rain free .... they are calling for 77 when we are due to arrive home this afternoon .... if the forecast holds true, Hurricane Zeta's path is taking her further west .... that should help minimize any impact on our home area .... hopefully, that will give some area badly needed rain .... slices of ham, eggs, sliced tomato and Folgers are a good start to the day

54° and overcast with rain expected soon on the mountain. Breakfast was delicious, and hot coffee was flowing. More leaf blowing today. I have to run 3 tanks of gas in the blower to accomplish this task, and that's every other day when the leafs are falling. I get a good workout, but it's the wrong kind of workout. All it does is flare up my back, and my old elbows. Sucks getting old. Looks like the Radio conditions are good today due to a large Sunspot,and a few smaller ones. I'll go down to my "shack"
(Radio room) and see if my powerful RF will burn off some of this overcast, and maybe even talk to someone in Europe. Cheers.

31 degrees and a warming trend. Fifties by the weekend.
Choice of Subway or Brisket place for lunch.
Gun Club end of season dinner tonight.
Youngest daughter's father in law emailed me yesterday wanting to know if I needed to cut firewood.
I have plenty cut but I told him if he's bored come on out. We'll find plenty to do.

I love their Southwestern Steak and Cheese, toasted with lettuce, green peppers, jalapenos, and southwestern sauce.
Lot's of jalapenos and sauce.
Hmmmm. Now I'm getting hungry.

“We’re having a heatwave” 26 today with a high temp that might start with a 4!! Need to melt all this snow so I can get back to my fall projects including climbing up on the roof and blowing pine needles from the valleys. And the gutters too. It’s supposed to be in the low 50’s for several days so that should take care of all this white “stuff” on the ground.

Enjoying my Folgers and in deep contemplation about buying a used .223 bolt rifle on a local gun site.

Most of my flowers are looking poorly after the first frost a few days ago. I’ll miss seeing all the green and colors in the atrium.
