Re: Leupold Scope for CZ American
I just ordered six scopes from Natchez to replace some vintage 3/4” and 7/8” tubes. I think they look great on a lever but they don’t work all that great.
2 Nikon ProStaff P3 3-9x50 matte BDC
2 Leupold VX Freedom 3-9x40 matte Rimfire MOA
1 Leupold VX Freedom 1.5-4x20 matte Pig-Plex
1 Leupold VX-3i 4.5-14x50 matte Duplex
and six rings of various heights.

I’m not rich folks. I bought all six scopes for less than one of these Zeiss scopes.
Only one of the scopes I bought was NIB. The rest were refurbished or blemished. You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Nice, there is a guy here in Spokane selling a nearly new Freedom 3-9x40 rimfire for $150. Ive been tempted but I like the 32mm, looks better on a lever in my opinion.
That’s a nice line up of scopes you have coming. You’re going to be busy mounting and sighting in, Oh Darn, right?

I paid $199. Regular price was $259. I like the looks of the smaller scopes myself. Unfortunately I can’t hit anything with them.Hatchdog wrote: ↑Mon Oct 12, 2020 6:44 pmNice, there is a guy here in Spokane selling a nearly new Freedom 3-9x40 rimfire for $150. I hope so. That one was the most expensive. My friend in TX has a couple Zeiss scopes. He shoots out to 600 yards at the range.
I’m thinking of putting the 1.5-4 scope on my Henry pump. At the 1.5 power I can keep both eyes open. I’m not familiar with the Pig-Plex and hope it’s good for shooting and following moving squirrels.

Don't worry about getting older and still doing stupid stuff. You'll do the stupid stuff as always, only much slower. Hold my beer and watch this.......

I received an email with the tracking number for my scopes. I should have them by Thursday. I will have to sort through my rifles to determine which ones will get new glass.

I should have the scopes today. I usually see FedEx go by around 10 am.

Re: Leupold And Nikon Scopes
My scopes arrived today! All but one was a blemish or refurbished. They all looked new to me. The box on the left is new.
I’m a very happy camper. The bad news is I need tip-off and not Weaver rings.
This was a typical blemish.
As you can see it wiped off. Then I discovered another blemish which wiped clean also.
All six scopes appear to be brand spanking new! I was expecting scratches and dents. I don’t think any were ever mounted. My guess is the boxes were opened and maybe handled. I’m a very happy camper. The bad news is I need tip-off and not Weaver rings.
