Just mowed the lawn. Man, it's getting hot.
Just hate to cut the cord. Really hard on Carol. Maybe after the elections we can get together again.
Usually we don't get into politics at family affairs, but things are getting tense I guess.

Waiting for my implants to heal so coffee with cream of wheat this morning.
Our family is fractured this forth by two Minneapolis Liberal Females. Not getting together
as we usually would because all we would get is lectured by them and we're getting tired of it.
Sad.

I haven’t spoken to my sister in three years. She wanted to dictate my life after my wife Donna passed away.

Guys, it's a bad & sad thing to have to do, part ways with family.
Sometimes you just have to face facts, and have no choice.
I had a daughter once, but she never had time to come & visit, unless she wanted something, maybe once a year. Finally had enough, about 7 yrs. ago. Told her to go her way, I'd go mine.
Hard thing to do, but I don't regret the decision.She just didn't turn out well for lots of reasons. Bad decisions, lost her house twice.
I can live with it.
Families have had problems since the beginning of time.

House is finished; all stained. Have a little bit of stain left so will so all the deck posts etc and buy another can next week for the deck surface.

70 degrees, up to 92 today. Got most of the grass cut yesterday. Lost electric power about 10:00 am Saturday due to traffic accident but came back about 4:00pm. Kept house closed up so it did not get too hot and freezers shut and they were ok.
Fresh ground coffee and going to spray poison ivy and sumac that is popping up all over.

this morning we awoke to 74 degrees under a beautifully sunny sky .... they are calling for a high of 88 later today .... no rain today but it is supposed to move in overnight and hang around for most of the day tomorrow .... my wife's family will once again gather for breakfast this morning .... sausage gravy and biscuits should provide a great start of our day ...

80° with 91% humidity. Headed toward 97° if you can believe in the forecast. Mighty muggy out to say the least. We're into two a day showers, no not rain. One in the house and one outside whenever doing any type of labor. You sweat so much you feel like you're taking one.

Nice thing here is we get heat but no humidity in the mountains. And cools off at night.

It was my dogs Birthday Yesterday. He's 13.

70 this morning on its way to 86 humid degrees later today .... officially its partly cloudy but thunder is rumbling just west of us .... scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, and Folgers are long gone but have me ready for the day
