Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
71 very humid degrees as morning dawns on what is scheduled to be our last day at home between now and late August .... supposed to get up to 85 with an equal or higher humidity later today .... very low chance of rain .... regular breakfast of eggs, sausage and Folgers .... a busy (make that very busy) day is on tap ....
Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Sunny and 70 and a high of 84. Had storms and a couple of tornadoes spotted near here last night. Big winds that left a lot of branches in the yard. Have or had a glass top picnic table on patio, it is smashed with glass shards all over patio and in grass. Guess I know what I’ll be doing today. Everybody have a great day.

Had those big winds here Saturday as it blew branches and other things all over. 52 here this am as I begin another week of work looking for that last day in July to end it all. 80 and windy to end out the day.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coffee and apple pie for breakfast this morning.
Got up to find a big racoon digging up my flower beds. Ignored me until I actually went out there. Just hungry I guess.
Carol is sleeping in for a change. Twenty five years ago today we were married. Best day of my life.
We had both been single for a long long time raising our children. Seventeen years for me and fifteen for her.
Sad thing is she has to be at a township board meeting tonight, and besides, there are no restaurants open for us
to celebrate at.
What we did was celebrate last evening. She made Oysters baked on the half shell with garlic butter and cheese.
Followed that with a baked potato and of course a good garden salad. I finished that off with apple pie a la mode.

73 degrees at home .... 73 degrees at our destination for today, Lenoir City, TN where they are calling for 83 with a 20% chance of rain about the time we should arrive there .... a single cup of Folgers (travel day) complimented a BoJangles Cajun Fillet Biscuit with egg and cheese and BoRounds on her way back home from taking her soon to be son to daycare .... for me, its great to start of my day with my favorite breakfast biscuit ..

Warm morning here in B'ville. Had to take mom to the ER yesterday afternoon. She fell and complained about leg and back pain. CT scan revealed no broken bones but bruised up pretty good. Hope things go better today m

69° blue skys, and reaching 82° today on the mountain. It's been warm up here. 1st cup of Joe down, and waiting on breakfast. Hot a late start this morning. 2 days ago while string trimming I got plant juice all over me, some of it was poison ivy. I've got it in several places, and it ain't fun.
Cheers.

When I was young I could roll around in it and not get it. Now, it seems like all I have to do is walk past it and I get it.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Rainy morning here, that tropical depression up out of the Gulf I guess.
Speaking of poison ivy, I pulled a bunch of it up this past weekend for a buddy of mine.
That was Sat. and still no ill effects, so I guess it still doesn't bother me.
As kids growing up, heck my sister could just walk by some and seemed to get all infected.

Hope it doesn't show up on you Randy. It's usually about 1 to 2 days after exposure before it festers up on me.Vaquero wrote: ↑Tue Jun 09, 2020 9:00 amRainy morning here, that tropical depression up out of the Gulf I guess.

I also removed some from the Big Yucca out by the end of the driveway Sunday when I got home.
Should be all good, Thanks for the concerns.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
First day of our next twenty five years. (I'll never make it.) She might.
Supposed to be hot again, until the remnants of Floyd get here late this afternoon. Then it will cool down and rain prodigiously.
Coffee In VFW mug and apple pie.
I didn't have a tooth ache until I went to the dentist last week. Now I do.
Working up to implants with dentures. They say it's a one day process, it is NOT.
So far three visits taking impressions which btw, are quite uncomfortable.
One more visit today for bite pattern and then the surgery.
The Surgeon says the surgery will take about an hour and I will wake up with the teeth in my mouth.
We'll see. Their advertising leaves some truth to be desired.

Rainy and 55 with a high of 57. It is supposed to rain all day. Kind of gloomy, grandkids are coming over, that’ll brighten it up around here. Everybody have a great day.
