Morning, 65 here, and we survived another round. Power out at 7:05 and was still out at 9:15 when I went to bed.

61, sunny. Storm last nite was mostly lightening and thunder, little rain. Dodged a bullet. Dr. appointments today, private & VA.
I rarely ever buy a rifle, but when I do, it's a Henry.

54° with some thunder. Beautiful day yesterday. 1st cup of dark roast down, dogs fed, and sausage is sizzling. It's my little Brothers 60th birthday today. I can't beleive my little brother is 60. He's one hell of a Gunner. Cheers

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
You did indeed, was pretty rough again here last night.
The worst of both storms was the first 10 to 15 mins., except for that hail the first storm.
We played cards by oil lamps both nights.
Still a few showers around this AM.

Overcast and 43, rained all day yesterday and last night, supposed to be cloudy all day with a high of 55. Grandma will teach grandkids and I think I’ll start on frame for new train table. Denver omelettes for breakfast.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Woke up to a very muggy 74°. No rain this week in the adjusted forecast. We were originally going to get some rain Wednesday. I'm hoping it doesn't as I plan my first trip to the range tomorrow.

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
It was near 80F yesterday with blue sky and today upper 50's and of course more rain.
While having breakfast the big news is the shortage of meat products and several burger chains deleting burgers from their menus.
When will all the craziness end????
If I had one wish to be granted I'd be back in the 60's!!!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
I was going to light my oil lamp nite before last when the power went out, but found out I didn't have any oil. Been a while,
gotta find some more.I still remember the old days when that was all we had.
I knew it looked like you was getting slammed again. It is that time of year in TN, LOL

43° out & overcast. Lots of high wind and rain last night. 1st cup of coffee down, and it's all good. Nothing planned today, so anything's possible. Cheers!

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
thunderstorms moved south of us last night, about all we got was the distant rumble of thunder .... 58 under a gray sky on its way to 70 with a 50% chance of showers moving through this afternoon .... another slow day on tap .... concentrating on Folgers right now, breakfast will come later

Re: Our Morning Coffee and Weather
Coffee and my Oreo's this morning.
As I have children, relatives and good friends all over the country I always look at the radar weather every morning to see where the bad weather is. Don't see much this morning.

Cool here this week. High in the low sixties if we're lucky. Oh well, it's not snowing anymore.
We really need rain.
Farmers have all the corn and peas planted and now waiting for warmer weather to plant beans.
